This is a live recording of the Hybrid Set from Punktmidi @ Das Werk, RSO.BERLIN - 05. January 2025. 

Punktmidi began drumming at the age of six and has been surrounded by music ever since. His career as a producer started at the age of 14, exploring many genres. As part of the emerging techno scene in Munich, he organized non-profit raves in tunnels.

Since moving to Berlin, the "Punktmidi" project has evolved into a well-known name. He has performed at renowned venues in Berlin such as RSO, OXI, Alte Münze, and Anomalie, among others. His performances have taken him across Europe and even on an Asia tour at the beginning of 2024.

He is a co-founder of the Berlin-based label and event series "Das Werk," which osted events at RSO and Watergate, and planned showcases across Europe in clubs such as C12, Rote Sonne, and TES.

Punktmidi's sound has evolved significantly over the years, and in 2024, he decided to take a bold step in a new direction. He describes his sound as hypnotic, nostalgic, timeless, and atmospheric, combining complex rhythms influenced by original techno, raw, industrial, and old-school trance/psy.

Punktmidi has many releases planned for 2024 and is dedicated to surprise the audience with unconventional, multi-layered, and unobtrusive music. He aims to let the origins of rhythm and sound speak for themselves.

Besides his journey as an artist, Punktmidi works as an audio engineer for well-known artists around the globe, offering mixing and mastering services for both digital and vinyl formats.

this is the recording of my 2.5H set for Ravescape on March 1st 2025. Filled with textures, dark atmosphere and repetitive synth lines, it is a journey through many emotions.
