Dive in PUPA's set and you'll be floating in the sea of minimal & deep tech waves and enchanting pulses of trippy dark tunes. PUPA (real name Kristaps Daņiļevičs) likes to both participate and be part of the DJ scene. If Riga's nightlife is not a stranger to you, you have probably heard him in some of the local bars and clubs, as well as festivals - Teritorija, OneOne, Autentika, Playground festival, and LMA Carnival, to name a few. His side project now is organizing a series of Basa Kāja events, as well as organizing a series of private events called “Filter”.

Hungarian artists 7mirror and Viktor MATO join Slope Point with a three-track EP titled 6am. In its incessant search for new producers with whom to enlarge the family, the label widens its catalog by introducing dub techno sounds reminiscent of old school house. 7mirror and Viktor MATO are regular partners on their productions and releases, creating more deep house-oriented sounds that they now share with Slope Point. All three tracks on 6am have been mastered by Pheek and will be released on the label's Bandcamp on April 29th.

He opens the 7mirror EP with Espresso, a somber cut illuminated by chords loaded with reverbs accompanied by discreet percussion that takes us into an inhospitable and winding place. In Morning Light, Viktor MATO brings us a classic old school rhythm with the drum machine and a powerful bass line accompanied by saturated echo chords, creating a perfect mix to enjoy listening to. The 7mirror EP closes with Wake Up With You, perhaps the ideal track for the dance floor, with a hectic rhythm where the producer achieves the perfect fusion between dub techno and house: a female vocal line, chords impregnated with reverb and a line of vigorous but subtle bass that sustains and structures the entire track.

Artificial light is entangling with woodlands of lianas and broadleaved thickets. The space is filled with green essence, and the chirping of insects is beating an energetic pace that leads to dizziness. Condensation is running down the glass walls, attracting curious glances from passers-by outside. When the viscous fog clears, the caretaker of the Museum of Living Fossils, Dave Stuart, shows off his collection: author's exhibits by Quantec, Tm Shuffle and Alessandro Crimi.

Jukka Hänninen aka @tm_shuffle comes from the forests of Ruutana, Finland. His passion for music started in early 90's and his record collection and musical vision has grown since those times. He runs Vuo records, having released music from Trevor Deep Jr, Stardub, Shuffless, Kalle-M, himself and more. In his productions as well as DJ sets the spotlight is always on the music. His sound is a sum of all those felt bassdrum kicks, which have been plenty. You could call it dubtechno but it's more; it's 4am moods and endless grooves, filtered delays and rolling hihats. Sometimes techno, sometimes house, most times something beyond.

I like to experiment with different styles of electronic music, the goal of each set is to take the listeners on a joint journey, which can take them in different directions and genres. The greatest emphasis is placed on the minimal house and techno.
