Sister Bright

Pupilas Dilatadas is a Punk band formed in Porto Alegre (south of Brazil) in 1984. The band has performed many gigs in São Paulo, Paraná and Santa Catarina and participated of four compilations released in LP. In 87 they recorded the EP "Experience", but ended the activities in 1994. In 2002, the band got back with full force and renewed. They made concerts in Porto Alegre (II and III World Social Forum, Paraíba's Festival), Curitiba (Festival of Barulho Records, Psycho Carnival), Rio de Janeiro (Ruído Festival) and Belo Horizonte (A Obra). In 2004 they launched the album Planeta Estranho and in 2006, the album Virose De Rock, produced by multi-instrumentalist Astronauta Pinguim, from label Pineaplle Music. In 2008, the band released the collection Antes Nunca Do Que Tarde, which features the 16 songs recorded on LP and Cassete Tape, in 80's. In 2010, the band released the album Era Moderna and their last and current album is Mundo Kaos. The lineup is: FELIPE MESSA on guitar & vocals, VERI D'AVILA on bass & vocals and ROGÉRIO BITTENCOURT on drums & vocals. In concerts, the band plays songs of the five albums and their own versions for songs of The Clash, Misfits, Dead Kennedys and Ramones.

PUPILAS DILATADAS 
Banda de punk-rock formada em Porto Alegre/RS (sul do Brasil) no ano de 1984. Fez inúmeros shows em São Paulo, Paraná e Santa Catarina (estados brasileiros), participou de quatro coletâneas em vinil (Porto Alegre Rock, Ronda Alternativa, Contra Ataque, Paranóia Suicida) e lançou o compacto duplo "Experience" em 1987. Foi citada nos livros "ABZ do Rock Brasileiro" de Marcelo Dollabela, "Barulho" de André Barcinski, "Gauleses Irredutíveis" de Alisson Ávila, Cristiano Bastos, Eduardo Muller e "Tempo De Rock E Luz" de Fernanda Chemale, além de figurar em várias matérias de revistas e jornais, encerrando a primeira fase de atividades em 1994. 
A partir de 2002, a banda volta com força total e nova formação. Faz shows em vários festivais de música nas principais capitais do país, como Gig Rock, II e III Forum Social Mundial(Porto Alegre/RS), Festival da Barulho Records(Curitiba/PR), Ruído Festival(Rio de Janeiro/RJ) e A Obra(Belo Horizonte/MG), lançando em 2004 o CD Planeta Estranho. Em 2006, grava o CD Virose de Rock, produzido pelo multi-instrumentista Astronauta Pinguim. No ano de 2008, a banda disponibiliza, somente na internet, a coletânea Antes Nunca Do Que Tarde, que traz as 16 músicas gravadas em vinil e K-7, nos anos 80. Em 2010 a banda lançou o CD Era Moderna e atualmente está divulgando o CD Mundo Kaos, que traz dez músicas inéditas. A formação atual da banda é a seguinte: FELIPE MESSA na guitarra & vocal, VERI D'AVILA no baixo & vocal e ROGÉRIO BITTENCOURT na bateria & vocal. No show, o Pupilas Dilatadas toca músicas dos cinco CDs, mais versões de clássicos do punk-rock mundial.
