The queer resident of Nachtfalter collective has been moving crowds since he discovered his love for electronic music in 2014. An ever present traveller to Berlin to soak in the sights and sounds for some inspiration, he brings together his sets with enormous passion, energy and a thriving knowledge for a variety of genre's in the space.

MASS Sessions #138 | Wanton

Wanton is a DJ/producer from Antwerp, Belgium. He started his audio adventure in 2016 by enrolling in an education at the AMWD - Art Academy, led by Staf Verbeeck. Hungry for more knowledge, he enrolled in a second education in 2017: Sound Education Utrecht, where he graduated Cum Laude. Combining these 2 trainings, Wanton learned a lot about sound engineering. To expand his knowledge even further, he started to produce music himself. In 2018, his DJ story really began when he performed for the first time. In 3 years time, he managed to make a name for himself on a national and international level with his DJ sets and productions. His performances can be described as an apocalypse, where he will hit you with nasty and heavy sounds. Wanton is a SLAGVELD resident, and was also on the line up for events like Jaded London, Unlocked BCN, Hard Harder Hardst, Technomite, Tomorrowland etc. He became a respected artist in the Antwerp techno scene. Recently, he also started his own mastering business called Wanton Mastering and his agency Black Mass. Next to exploring the world in this adventure, he loves to guide producers in knowledge and mindset.

ANDROM returns to Krachtvoer, this time with his first full artist EP entitled 'Then is now'.
This EP kicks off with the title track; ‘Then Is Now’. Which combines heavy atmospheres with hard beats, working up to a massive acid lead in the climax. 
Followed by ’22:55’, it’s kick drum and synth lead tell a singular story of pure effective hammering.
ANDROM’s third track is ‘Artful’, a detailed heavy broken beat and four by four combo track, setting the stage for Forest People’s remix, shaking things up with it’s broken beat madness.
Exilles also joins the remix roster, with their version of ‘Then Is Now’, bringing a club friendly remix adding extra layers of melody to it. Final remixer is Unified Method, with a deep broken beat version of ‘Then Is Now’, rounding off a varied but intense EP.
