It was a Pure Lust Friday night at Toldi...Kind of late hours, backstage and crowd was still venting on @britta-1 (Britta Arnold), then all sudden I have to be on stage and somehow give this party a nice closure. Okay. Now my insecurities are gone, let's do this...Together! 

Thank you for staying with me, and extending my original 1,5 hour long journey with an extra hour. Mesmerized by dark disco, solid ketapop and slow techno.
For the last hour I asked @danielsantiagohun (Daniel Santiago) to join me, funtime took off immediately...

Mirmur After Britta Arnold At Toldi 20180921

Today we welcome a duo to the team, which knows each other almost the whole live, almost like real brothers.

Their name is based on the French word Rameau, which means olive tree branch and further is the symbol of peace. Besides their melodic electronica sounds RAMMÖ is known for its their excellent MM mix series and the minimalistic, white object artworks (which we absolutely love!). They thought of it as a nice analogy to the way they make and think of music.

It was almost 10 years ago when the two friends moved from Southern France to Amsterdam and further developed their musical profile within the vibrant Dutch music community. RAMMÖ are also co-founders and residents of the respected Dutch collective Klassified Music. 

2019 will be an exciting year for RAMMÖ: one original track coming out on the next Klassified VA/compilation on Janurary 25th. RAMMÖ, by the way, will be mixing it. Further they’re about to announce gigs around the globe including an Asia tour. And there is more to come by this fantastic duo…

Please join me in welcoming the guys on board and have a sip of this fantastically deep and refined Vodka Sawa. We love its build-up and this slight touch of funk & groovyness to it.

Madmotormiquel is next up to join the Bunte Kuh family, this time offering up a tantalising pair of original works alongside two remixes from Christopher Schwarzwalder and Iorie which are set to drop after the 12” vinyl release.

The title track for the EP is up first as ’Someone To Take Me Home’, easing you into a rich, rolling groove partnered alongside delicate, reverb soaked piano parts.
 ’Sleepwalker’ is then carried by a marching rhythm and simplistic bass line, easing off the gas only to welcome trippy, dreamlike synth lines that take the experience to another level.
The first of the reworks is Christopher Schwarzwalder, who ups the energy from the original work with punchier percussion and techy melodic movements. 
Iories then closes the show stripping things back with dark growling bass lines and vocal snippets, rounding off the collection in a vast sunset of colour.

How can electronic music be a soul music? The founder DJs of Pure Lust Daniel Santiago and Daniel Ban from Budapest, know exactly this. The secret of their success is to find a mixture of styles that blend downtempo, a little bit of rock, and more spirited folk motifs, on house and electronic basis. This mixture results in a deep yet dancefloor friendly sounds. The secret component is the appropriate proportion of styles. They always tell something through music and give a dynamic and fresh experience to the people. 

Their team involves 3 more local DJs and producers: Mirmur, Kristof Kelemen and Marcello Baptiste. Each of them represents Pure Lust's vision of music, all in an exciting way, including live or hybrid sets.

The team has been a guest of many international performers: 
Acid Pauli, Christian Löffler, Satori, Rampue, Stimming, NU, Parra For Cuva, Viken Arman, Hraach, Just Emma, Be Svendsen, Rodrigo Gallardo, MoM, Britta Arnold, Jacob Groening, Billy Caso, Zigan Aldi to mention a few.
They organise events in local infamous clubs, such as TOLDI, A38, PONTOON and play at many other venues and festivals, like O.Z.O.R.A, Kolorádó.

The guys continuously work or collaborate with local musicians, djs, artists, and collectives doing A&R and this became so important for them that they named the project "Hazai Nyitás", which is also a name for a monthly event series at TOLDI.
