"Lights" is a track from the last album "Lights From Oblivion"
 ADRAMELCH - a name enthused by admirers of Progressive Metal since decades! But this is just the beginning, because soon enough more music lovers will join the praise, as this Italian band is ready to open a new chapter in their legendary history!
In 1988 ADRAMELCH released their fabulous debut »Irae Melanox« and became a cult band - despite the fact that they split up quite soon. After the musicians found together again in 2004 they were digging lost treasures for release on next years' sophomore album »Broken History«. They finally recorded these songs, that could not have been released due to the untimely death of the band.
But it was not satisfying enough for ADRAMELCH to just polish their old repertoire, it was also a question of honour to deliver new songs to the fans. But how would these "new" ADRAMELCH sound? How would these new tunes, that were created more than 20 years after the cult works from the eighties, turn out to be? We are just about to find out the answer to this thrilling question, as the band has just completed their third masterpiece »Lights From Oblivion«!
Of course - and more or less unavoidable - this new album sounds different to the predecessors from the past, but is still clearly to be identified as craft from the hands of ADRAMELCH. Just the unique voice of Vittorio Ballerio would be enough to distinguish this group among million others. In addition we can always find that characteristic style of composing songs like a personal fingerprint for the band.
Supported by a clear and breathing production the music of ADRAMELCH sounds nowadays more manifold than ever, has a more rocking drive, allows melancholic-meditative moments, without losing its' down-to-earth and heavy base. Above all that typical triumphant and anthem-like charakter of ADRAMELCH has bigger effect than before, making »Lights From Oblivion« simply addictive. The mastering, that took place in the world-famous "Finnvox"-studios helped the creation of a powerful and dynamic sound without covering these vital fine details.
With their new album ADRAMELCH did not take the easy path by copying themselves, but developed their style with a great sense of phantasy, which gives them any possibilities for the future to come. With »Lights From Oblivion« they will inspire their present fans as well as reaching new listeners, that were not used to the band before. This comes because ADRAMELCH prove in 2012 once again, that they are one of these precious phenomena, that music history very rarely bears!

If you’re into melodic, yet uncompromised progressive metal, the name of HELREIDH might sound somehow familiar to your ears. Yes, this Italian band was active in the second half of the Nineties, releasing a couple of excellent albums, before entering a long hiatus, which the new ‘Fragmenta’ is now about to break.
Remember the thrilling melodies of the debut, ‘Mémories’, released 1997? Or the varied, multi-layered  sound of the following ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’ EP? These two releases brought HELREIDH of the agenda of most progressive metal lovers back at the time, before that unsurprising internal issues  tore the band apart, even before releasing the anticipated second full-length, ‘Earth Chronicles’.
Well, these two releases now have a worth successor in the shape of the new ‘Fragmenta’, an album which doesn’t only revive the spirit of the old HELREIDH, but brings with him a number of new elements, starting with a strongly renewed line-up. Aside founding members Yorick (guitars) and Luca Roggi (drums), HELREIDH anno 2012 feature as well Max ‘The Voice’ Bastasi (vocals), Aligi Pasqualetto (keyboards) and Francesco ‘Frana’ De Paoli (bass, ex-Raising Fear). What’s most important, they sport a significantly wider musical spectrum. Their progressive roots still play a key role into the music of HELEIDH, but elements of classic rock, hard rock and progressive rock are to be found as well.
The title says a lot: ‘Fragmenta’, a collection of fragments, individual stories yet to be told. And the stories of the single tracks are pretty different: songs dating back to the early phase of the band, musical ideas deriving from other projects and brand new songs, all merge together to create a sound that brings together passion, power, feeling and musical intensity.
To make it short, with this new album HELREIDH have managed to reach new heights, creating a sound that’s heavier and more complex, but also catchy and moving, rich of progressive and symphonic edges. Fans of Savatage, Kamelot and Ayreon will have their fun in the new ‘Fragmenta’, an album which deserves its own recognition, aside from any possible comparison.
HELREIDH are back, with a progressive vengeance!

Inspired by bands like Psychotic Waltz, Secrecy, Sieges Even and Depressive Age, the quintet is mixing quiet, atmospheric parts with heavy thrash attacks. Here the melodic, clean vocals of Haye Graf are hitting fat guitar riffs. A modern, powerful production rounds up the progressive, sophisticated songwriting. All eight songs are featuring  profound arrangements, heavy parts are mixing up with spherical parts. Finally the album got an absolutely appropriate and transparent, crystal-clear sound and an atmospheric cover artwork.

 ‘Opus’ is a Latin word. It defines “an artistic work, especially on a large scale”. And this fits perfectly for the fourth release of Adramelch and will be released at 22.05.2015.
Yes, the outstanding progressive metallers from Milan, Italy, are back with a new album. And this only a few years after their beautiful ‘Lights From Oblivion’, the debut for the Pure Prog record label. As a welcome exception, this time Adramelch have speedup their pace, and with a reason.
On the one hand, ‘Opus’ marks the official end of Adramelch discographic career. For a number of reason, the band has decided to call it quit, drawing the final curtain on the career of Italy’s most influential and charismatic combo. But, before leaving forever, the band has decided to produce yet another milestone, set to leave a mark on the scene, as every output of them did so far. And man they made it. On the other hand, ‘Opus’ is probably the most atmospheric and mature album of Adramelch career. Once again, the band has not limited itself to repeat is glorious past, but has looked forward, managing to create a new masterpiece, adding new colors and atmospheres, yet totally in line with its past heritage.
‘Opus’ has all the trademarks of the Adramelch sound. From arcane progressions to epic atmospheres, from the overwhelming arrangements to the unique vocals of Vittorio Ballerio, this record shows once again all the facets of the very peculiar sound that has made Adramelch an absolute cult-band, not only in their homeland but around the world.
As always, it’s very hard to pick up single songs, as every Adramelch album is conceived as a composite work, to be received and appreciated as a whole, but a very personal preference goes to the pounding ‘Long Live The Sun’, the beautifully progressive-tinged ‘Only By Pain’, the amazing ballad ‘Fate’ and the astonishing uptempo ‘Forgotten Words’, with its arcane and epic melodies. To make a long story short, ‘Opus’ definitely deserves its name, turning in to be the latest (and last, unfortunately) masterpiece in the history of one of the most talented bands on this planet. Do yourself a favour, pick randomly each song on this album,
you won’t regret it at all.

This last release is also the first time for Adramelch with a professional artistic producer: Guido Block, native German singer and bass player, who gave to this project a real higher gear. The album has been recorded at his “Lo Studio” in Milan. ‘Opus’ also counts on the participation of 2 singers as special guests that offer to this musical prism a further hue. Simona Aileen Pala and the same Guido Block jointhe band in four tracks further embellishing this last masterwork. The album,
mastered @ the NewSin Studios (by Luigi Stefanini), will be issued, as the previous one, by the German label Pure Prog, also in vinyl.

“My ghosts inside” - MAYFAIR are awakening forces from the comfort zone
On their new album "my ghosts inside" MAYFAIR once again deliver lots of emotions but also surprising new aspects of their music. And so the Austrian prog-rockers - although the musicians are very reluctant to be labelled as such - will not only inspire their fans with their new album but also wow each listener. For all of those who have followed the band for some time, this won’t come as a surprise as their music has always been in flux and no album resembles another.
“my ghosts inside” deals with the theme of spirits that sleep within us, positive and negative forces that can erupt at certain moments and kick us out of our comfort zone. The band has tried to depict those outbreaks both musically and lyrically. Already in the rehearsal room the songs had tremendous depth - the band went on to prove in the studio that they can live up to their own, ambitious goals. For the recording of the album MAYFAIR worked with Thomas “Cook” Koch and Sirius D. Raze - the band share a deep understanding of music with the sound engineer
duo as well as a close friendship and several years of common musical experience. Having a clear idea of how the album should sound, the band spent a good amount of time preparing the technical aspects with Cook and Raze before the actual recording. “Mastering Mind” Little Konzett gave the album its finishing touches.
Multi-faceted concept album
While René lets his guitar swing and vibrate ecstatically, Mario at times sings softly, at other times screams out his feelings. The rhythm section is rolling with a booming, sometimes velvety bass played by Johannes and Jolly treats his skins and cymbals sometimes vigorously and at other times with an almost tender bittersweetness by Jolly. “loss” gives you goosebumps, whereas “my ghosts inside” brings you back down to ground with a bump. “desert” is enriched with growls while “blinded by your light” is in turn carried by a heavenly guitar melody. As heard before from MAYFAIR, German sentences or phrases are repeatedly interwoven into the English lyrics - very nice to hear in the groove-driven “when angels and demons meet”. “Our fire starts here”, reminiscent of forgotten times, flows directly into the next track “ghostrider”, a rather hard, diversified song. In contrast, “boom” is sung with such ease that the melody stays with you. “andermal” spirals up into madness to then let emotions run wild in accordance with the next track “schrei es raus”. With “until we meet again” MAYFAIR closes the circle of this concept album and leaves the listener calm but restless.

A COSMIC TRAIL is an instrumental band that composes haunting and outstanding music influenced by elements from rock, prog, metal, jazz, folk and soundtracks. Combined and interweaved with beautiful melodies, stirring rhythms and lots of twists and changes all this creates a very unique and distinctive atmosphere. There's absolutely no room for typical post rock clichés in this band!

According to the motto musical barriers are there to tear them down A COSMIC TRAIL came out of nowhere and released their debut "The Outer Planes" in 2010. The album was sent to a small number of exclusive magazines. Reviews were overwhelming! "The Outer Planes" became a no-brainer and enjoyed popularity in all musical styles. The CD is completely sold out in the meantime! 

Two years of intense songwriting sessions resulted in the new album "II: Mistral".
A COSMIC TRAIL worked on every little detail in the arrangements but still there's enough space for improvisation in the new tracks.
With the addition of drummer Klaus Engl (7for4) the new album sounds more rhythmic, organic and even more diversified. A COSMIC TRAIL kept their sound and style but are eager for constant progression and the urge to discover new musical territories.
