Presenting the latest installment of its various artist series, Purified Records delivers Fragments XIX. Selecting three magnificent cuts, the compilation dives into a club-dimension with Spartans’ ‘Interstellar’, P.LIMA’s ‘Indie Reverie’ and Offtide’s ‘Forget The Mistake’, which have all made a massive impact in Nora En Pure’s recent sets around the planet.

The Fragments XIX artwork features a stunning photograph of a pair of rays. Manta and devil rays, known collectively as mobulids, are some of the most beautiful, fascinating and enigmatic creatures in our ocean. The Manta Trust has announced a five-year plan, dedicated to conserving these extraordinary beings. With four key goals, they are dedicated to reducing bycatch and targeted catch, minimizing discarded bycatch and entanglement, protecting from human intrusion, and inspiring positive action. Manta rays are listed as vulnerable according to the IUCN Red List.

Returning with a striking 3-track EP, Swiss producer Dan Sushi delivers his ‘Orbital’ EP on Purified Records. Opening with the title track, he showcases his powerful sound with undulating synths, dramatic instrumentation and hard-hitting bass. Moving into ‘Homecoming’, a driving arrangement develops throughout its duration, combining heavy percussive elements with soaring keys. Rounding it off with ‘Storm’, Dan Sushi crafts an entrancing atmosphere to close the EP, taking over control with rolling rhythms, staccato chords and thunderous bass. 

The ‘Orbital’ artwork features a mesmerizing image of a reef shark amidst a school of fish, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Shockingly, less than 3% of the ocean is fully protected. This means overfishing, bottom trawling, and other destructive activities continue to wreak havoc on the ocean. Scientists say we must protect at least 30% of the ocean by 2030 to stabilize our climate, stop wildlife exploitation, and secure an equitable, healthy future for life everywhere. In December 2022, at COP15, world leaders from over 190 nations committed to this global initiative. Now it’s time to hold them to their promise. Back with their second official collaboration since 2020, Kasablanca and Lane 8 team up on latest hit track, 'Remission', on Anjunabeats.

Launching into the dance music scene in 2020 with their first releases, Kasablanca quickly made a name for themselves later that July with the release of their hit collaboration with Lane 8, 'Run'. With that original track now streamed over 40M times worldwide since its release, hitting #1 on SiriusXM BPM, and heard countless times live at major festival stages around the world, Kasablanca and Lane 8 look to follow up on their success together with their latest collaborative release, 'Remission'.

After a massive 2022 and 2023 that saw Kasablanca touring around the world and playing some of the most well known venues like Coachella, Printworks, Red Rocks, and The Gorge, their tour in late 2023 was cut short after revealing that frontman "Mickey" was diagnosed with cancer. Following a short hiatus from touring and music in the start of 2024, 'Remission' marks the official return of Kasablanca after the debut of the track during their LIVE set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Chile and Peru.

Denver-based DJ and producer Daniel Goldstein, aka Lane 8, has become the leading light in today's melodic house scene with multiple shows at iconic venues such as Red Rocks and Brooklyn Mirage under his belt. Lane 8 fans might have noticed the new record being road-tested in his recent shows, most notably when it was debuted at CRSSD Festival in San Diego in early March.

Darren Tate announces new album ‘Metamorphosis’ with progressive single ‘Flashing Lights’, a collaboration with songwriter and vocalist Sxcha.

Darren Tate has been a pivotal artist in dance music for over twenty years. In 2022, the UK Top 10 charting producer joined forces with Above & Beyond’s Jono Grant to form JODA. Released on Anjunabeats, their self-titled debut album has since seen over 10 million combined streams.

Under the aliases DT8 Project, Angelic with Judge Jules, Jurgen Vries, Orion and Citizen Caned, Darren has amassed twelve Top 40 UK singles across his accomplished career. He is also the owner of Mondo Records UK and a successful composer; in 2022, he scored the soundtrack for the IMAX feature film ‘The Last Glaciers’ with Above & Beyond.

Darren got off to a flying start this year by joining forces with trance titan Solarstone and established vocalist Julie Scott on ‘A Long Way From Home’, a single that earned support from Nicole Moudaber, ANNA, Joris Voorn, Hernán Cattáneo, Carl Craig, Nora En Pure and more. Marking a milestone in Purified Records’ history, the label presents the twentieth instalment of its sought-after various artist Fragments series. Entering a dreamy soundscape, Palisade and Affektion team up for ‘Hurt Enough’. Gliding on a pristine arrangement, the track reaches a lofty dimension with soaring vocals and glistening synths. Flowing into TsuruSwing’s ‘Okutama’, this melodic creation is built up around a stunning piano break, which showcases the composer’s ability to fuse classical and contemporary elements. Closing with Krokha’s dramatic cut ‘Paradigm’, the compilation moves into a deeper dimension with growling bass and guiding pads.

Schooling fish exhibit a collective behavior where they swim together in coordinated groups, often displaying intricate and synchronized movements. This behavior serves various purposes, including predator avoidance, improved foraging efficiency, and enhanced reproductive success. Schooling helps create a visually confusing and intimidating effect, making it challenging for predators to target individual fish within the group. Communication through visual cues and changes in direction contributes to the cohesion and coordination observed in schooling fish. The Ocean Conservancy is an organization that fights for ocean protection all around the world – the only place fish can call home.
