Transporting us into his melodic and epic sonic realm, Swiss-Belgian producer Paradoks returns to Purified Records with ‘Sea Of Infinity’. Devising a dramatic and soaring soundscape, his latest offering showcases his majestic and powerful musical identity. 

The ‘Sea Of Infinity’ artwork displays an incredible underwater scene captured by Daniel Nicholson. Our ocean is truly awe-inspiring, with more than 80% of the seafloor yet to be mapped and explored. Scientists estimate that more than 90% of ocean species have not been identified, and more than 2000 new marine species are discovered every year, which goes to show just how vast these underwater realms truly are. Shockingly, less than 3% of the ocean is fully protected, which results in overfishing, bottom trawling, and other destructive activities that continue to wreak havoc on the ocean. Scientists say we must protect at least 30% of the ocean by 2030 to stabilize our climate, stop wildlife exploitation, and secure an equitable, healthy future for life everywhere. At COP15 in December 2022, world leaders finally committed to putting this urgent initiative in place, and Only One launched their 30x30 campaign to hold world leaders to their promise to protect 30% by 2023. HEREON X ADAM SELLOUK X BRAEV x LIKE MIKE - The Night

Returning for the eighteenth installment of its sought-after VA series, Purified Records delivers three new creations in Purified Fragments XVIII. Entering an epic sonic realm, LA-based producer Jono Stephenson blends progressive and powerful sounds in ‘Pathfinder’. Dutch producer Wouter Achterberg soars high in his melodic offering ‘Fool Me’ and Chicago’s FJ9 closes the compilation with his magnetic instrumental cut ‘Echos of the Soul’. 

The Fragment XVIII artwork features a striking image of a squadron of Mobula rays, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Mobula rays are often referred to as “flying rays” due to their remarkable ability to breach out of the water, sometimes soaring several feet into the air before splashing back down. This behavior is thought to serve multiple purposes, such as communication, mating, or ridding themselves of parasites. They are known for their large aggregations, where hundreds of individuals come together. Mobula rays have a peculiar mouth structure, with the upper and lower parts of their jaws protruding like a pair of "horns." These mouth extensions may help funnel plankton-rich water into their mouths during feeding. They are listed as vulnerable according to the IUCN. Organizations like The Manta Trust are focused on research, education, and conservation efforts to protect manta rays and their close relatives worldwide.

Hot on the heels of his latest full-length delivery, here comes Oliver Koletzki's 'Trip To Sanity Remixed' - a package of reworks featuring contributions from fellow Stil vor Talent alums Rampue, Fabian Krooss and Tim Engelhardt + Sean Doron.

Injecting his own exotica-laced musical genotype into Koletzki's voluptuously epic club-focussed DNA, Rampue takes us on a hybrid hi-NRG yet melancholy-drenched jaunt, running the gamut from prog techno landscapes onto purely rapturous piano house on a hypermodern tip. The result is both a straightforward and dreamy immersion into Rampue's multi-faceted universe, as much as it fleshes out Koletzki's pop-friendliness with that teleportative 90s punch whose impact doesn't fade with years.

'Don't Ever Wake Me Up' gets the Krooss treatment and it's a further compelling electro-acoustic trip for the body and soul that unfolds. Strips of elegant Spanish guitar blazing alongside a languid electro chug and cascading bloops out some pixelated house Eden, there's Krooss' trademark strain of balearic house with a bass-forward drive coming at you with full force. Last but not least, 'Is It Real (ft. Malou)' finds Engelhardt and Doron tweaking the circuits to further incendiary effect. Their version mixes a highly volatile EBM lead with Malou's sensuously haunting vocals, plus an enhanced dose of subs to heave us onto unheard layers of ecstasy. Its steadfast, propulsive thrust throughout the six-minute-shy buildup of the track laced with that finessed sound design prove a durably mesmerizing combo.
