Following his Purified Records debut, ‘We Are The Mirrors’, UK producer Anriu returns to the imprint with a mesmerizing two-track EP, ’The Forgotten’. Delving further into his melodic realm, the title track is a delicate creation, which blends emotive and melancholic piano chords, intricate percussion, and explorative synths. Pushed along by a deep bassline, ’The Forgotten’ achieves an elegant balance between dark and light elements. Fusing classical and electronic sensibilities, ‘Lost Land’ devises a poignant and more upbeat soundscape with stirring strings, touching keys, and a smooth bassline.
