Taken by Rachel Moore, the ‘Fragments XXX’ artwork was captured at the South Pass of Fakarava, a renowned dive site famously called ‘The Wall Of Sharks’. Rachel is a professional underwater photographer and environmental advocate dedicated to capturing the wonders of marine life. French Polynesia is home to the world’s largest shark sanctuary, and the remarkable abundance of sharks here is a testament to the success of their conservation efforts. Brooke is an award-winning marine life photographer from Australia, based on Ningaloo Reef in WA. With a background in diving, she now focuses on ocean, travel, and adventure photography, capturing the beauty of the underwater world since 2014.

Each year, humpback whales migrate thousands of kilometres to the warm, sheltered waters of Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef to breed, give birth, and raise their young. The Australian Institute of Marine Science (@australianmarinescience) supports research across these vital ecosystems, using science and technology to better understand and protect Australia’s marine biodiversity
