It's time to catch up with Ekkohaus on the occasion of his Noschool Remix EP. Following on from the success of Ekkohaus’ debut album, No School, last year, Moon Harbour now offer a selection of high quality remixes. The chosen ones include Watergate mix star and bona-fide house godfather Kerri Chandler, Made to Play boss Jesse Rose, label regular Sven Tasnadi, Greek producer John Dimas and rising Russian talent and Beatport remix contest winner, Ki.Mi.

In the news section Dan Drastic not only introduces us to some of the remixes from Ekkohaus' Noschool Album, he also plays tracks by Christian Nielsen & Mr. V, Denis Horvat and Nicson, to name a few.

Music producer and songwriter PARIS TOON, founder of MOTHERS FAVORITE CHILD (MFC), has teamed up with legendary vocalist ROBIN S for a gorgeous slice of R&B perfectly complemented by OPOLOPO’s seamless production.

ROBIN STONE aka ROBIN S needs no introduction whatsoever. One of house music’s most beloved artists is now celebrating an illustrious career that has spread over the last 3 decades. This release is now our 3rd collaboration with ROBIN, following the 2022 single I BELIEVE remixed by MICHAEL GRAY & MARK KNIGHT and of course the 2021 monster rework of SHOW ME LOVE by Chicago’s modern house hero EMMACULATE.

OPOLOPO is Yoruban for "plenty", a word that best exemplifies the diversity of this production wizard’s musical voyage. Whether it's house, boogie, broken beat, funk or soul, his compositions and productions are always uncompromising with a steady gaze on the horizon and a quick glance in the rear-view mirror. After multiple remixes and productions on REEL PEOPLE MUSIC, it’s an honour to keep releasing music by this Swedish heavyweight as we also look forward to his forthcoming album, a joint project with ANGELA JOHNSON.

In his own words:

'There wasn’t supposed to be an album this year but I fancied a change from the direct 4 to the floor. I’d been going through my collection and I had a show on worldwide with K15 and decided the start of the year would be looking into something different and challenging for me with a jazzy edge...month or so later I had this body of work that seemed to go together really well but more importantly I could now see the dots joining and my broad spectrum of music for once was super clear to see - and boy am I proud - Hope you enjoy the ride.'

another track that is a huge favourite of mine and with only a few hundred plays on you tube this is fairly unknown track by Jay J and Chris Lum
released in 2001 way before the editing scene i remember them using the classic sample which we now all know way back then before anyone even probably knew about Jackie Moore "This Time, Baby"....so this is a vinyl only track lucky for me... they sent me a whole bunch of promos on cds back in 2001 which are very rare indeed soooooo.......
i have given this a much slower rework not changing much just with more percussion and hi hats making this a more warmer sound by dual layering the origanl enhancing the bass for todays current nu disco sound 
with only a few hundred plays on  you tube for the original i hope ive shown you a rare Jay j & c.l track making it a more current sound
