Cotton Beach Club Chill Out Vol.01

I wanted to start this Mixtape with one of my favorite tunes of Chill Out-Lounge of all times “More than ever people”. After it, comes “La esquina” which brings the first Spanish vibe to the Set and from here on, a sequence of downtempo soul sounds provide the elegance to the mix and opens the door to a bit more uptempo tunes like the House Classic “The Man with the Red Face” this time in an amazing Chilled Remix version, followed by a nice percussion cover from Sting’s classic “Fragile” and after it comes the Spanish note again with the track “La Puerta del Cielo” which brings the Flamenco vibe at this point. From here on all the songs remind me to the beautiful island of Mauritius, the great remix from Angelo Ferreri from the classic "Cantaloupe Island" and of course, the well known track “On the Beach” by Chris Rea, this time remixed with excellence by Todd Terje.
I hope you enjoy listening to this mix as much as I did recording it, and that takes you on a journey to the sunny, beautiful and warm coast of Mauritius island.

La experiencia de poder vivir unos días en Formentera y estar instalado en el Hostal La Savina Formentera y hacer un año más una Sunset Emotions Formentera by La Savina, no tiene explicación en palabras, solo es cuestión de sentirlo, de notarlo, de valorarlo, de recordarlo para siempre. Mi más sincero agradecimiento a Jordi y Pau Marí por el trato que nos han brindado un verano más. Aquí la sesión del pasado sábado, sensibilidad, como se debe ser en la vida. London-based DJ Ella’s passion for music started from an early age. Having trained at the Royal Ballet School, Ella has previously worked as one of the UK’s top commercial dancers. Her dance career has seen her work alongside artists including Kylie Minogue, Calvin Harris and appeared on TV shows including The X factor, Britain’s Got Talent and towards the end of her career dancing in the London Olympic closing ceremonies 2012.

After a highly successful dancing career, self-confessed party girl Ella turned her attention to behind the decks.

Ella currently has London residencies at Madison’s, Bluebird, Gaucho, Nobu, Avenue & The Sky bar at the new Tottenham Stadium.

She is also a firm favorite in the fashion & design world, playing a diverse range of High profile events & A-List parties for brands including Dior, DVF, Porsche, McLaren, and Selfridges.

She has also played Internationally at ‘Shimmy Beach Club’ in South Africa, ‘Nammos’ in Mykonos, Portugal. Monaco, ‘MAXX Royale’ in Turkey & most recently in Bangladesh for NYE. This summer she makes her debut playing in Ibiza at the legendary Pikes.

Ella’s DJ sets greatly depend on the venue & crowd.

Her music is generally a fusion of genres from downtewmpo & lounge to Jazz/Funk/Soul/Disco & House. Her vast music collection has seen her play in both London’s underground circuit and representing the most luxurious brands.

Introducing Chelsea... with this 5 hour live set recorded at Izakaya in Ibiza.

Chelsea grew up in a small town in the Netherlands within a musical family who supported her love for music from day one. She was always dancing and singing around the house dreaming about a carreer in the music industry.

At the age of twelve Chelsea starts singing and performing on stage and within no time she grows into a beautiful young woman that manages to mermerize her audience with her voice as well as her appearance.

In 2007 at the age of seventeen Chelsea sings her first record deal under her former artist name Chelc-D. Not too long afterwards in 2009 she performes her debut song ‘Give’ during the closing show of Extrema Outdoor Festival. One week later ‘Give’ comes in at #1 in the Dutch single top 100.

In the year 2014 Chelsea decided to travel through Australia and kicks-off her carreer as a DJ. Within no time she hosts her own house nights in Sydney once a week.

In the summer of 2018 and 2019 Chelsea lived on Ibiza and was the resident DJ for Nikki Beach Ibiza.

She lived in Amsterdam for 8 years and is a resident DJ for high class venues such as the W hotel, Mr Porter, The Duchess, Momo, Izakaya the DoubleTree Hilton SkyLounge and many more.
