Just Drive

Purple Behaviour are based in Perth, Western Australia. The band is made up of Gareth Mealor from Fremantle and Ahmed Ramadan from Cairo, Egypt. Also, Naoko from Tokyo, Japan occasionally joins us for excursions on marimba.
Purple Behaviour are dedicated to freeform improvisation and our basic rule is to not plan anything whatsoever. All recordings are first takes of music we've never played or thought about before.....we're jammin', yeah! We then just rewind and play over it again if need be. A bit of mixing here and there and a piece of our lives is held in time...
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but we're smiling and laughing a lot. Please enjoy our purple offerings!
