Queen of Hearts

A simple, catchy song, musically inconsequential, but with some self-pitying and self-indulgent intent. It seems unbelievable, but I had "Bright Eyes", Art Garfunkel's 1977 hit, in mind. Obviously, I have to mention the song by my admired John Watts, for his legendary group Fischer-Z, "Lies", from his album Word Salad, because of its coincidental chorus. It's something that was also on my mind.

And so Pietro decides to  one day create himself a maiden...  As he is working away in his shop, he dreams of his creation coming to life and the times they will share... while contemplating his life thus far..
