We contacted Team America but they kept repeating ‘Mmmaaattt Dammmmmooonnnn’, over and over; we contacted The A-Team but they refused to travel; we contacted the Time Team but they had a problem with their geophys; no answer at all from The Suicide Squad. In the end we tracked them down with a sex-musk-o-meter. Hello. My name is Mr Stabalina. You stole my hands. Prepare to die.*

Safely back in the studio we’ve been trying alternatives to throwing actual hands in the air. We’ve tried ants, pants and washing machines, but after getting stung, arrested and breaking very many bones we’d recommend just sticking with your hands and damn the consequences.

*The Eagle and Mr Stabalina formed a firm friendship and are now fighting crime in Guatemala.

Mr Stabalina - In The Air (Original Mix)

90s High School student Duke listened to tape cassettes of Speed Garage on his walkman.  His eyes were nearly closed, his limbs struggling to remain still, his lips beatboxing along quietly to the bassline. 

During a class experiment taking apart electronics, he brought his grandfather's old AM radio.  Unbeknownst to the Duke, this radio altho looking nothing more than an antique, had been forever transformed from the fallout of radiation from an atom bomb detonation in 1945.  As Duke plugged in the radio, a freak accident occurred.  Suddenly there was a spine shattering crash and a blinding light. 1.21 jigowatts of electricity was unleashed causing a rift in the space-time continuum, and the young Duke was transported to a parallel world, one where the past, the present and the future were all merged.

Back from his journey, the Duke is ready to unleash his Future Swing Time Machine on our world.  Duke Skellington delivers on this one in true style, providing bass-heavy house drops fused with hip hop snippets and big brass stabs.

Crash Party - Sandman

After a few years bopping from one dimension to the next, getting lost in the ether, the stars aligned and we found ourselves bumping into the one and only Captain Flatcap and his trusty magic pipe!

He was busy as usual collecting ducks and whistling his merriness to his lovely tribe of Flatcappers, yet he found the time to blow us in the right direction and we ended up back on earth stomping away in a field not too far from home together.

Having started this funky little drum and bass number before we went in search of the Purple Planet we set up shop back in the Devon Shire and had a go at finishing some noises once again...

We were close but something wasn't quite 'hitting different', so we called on our new found friend to see if he had a moment to lay down the ducks and flute things up for us. 

And with one puff of his magic pipe He Fluted and He Scored!!
So with the final piece of the puzzle  we set about to master this mix of plinks and plonks...

But it was too much! 

We couldn't get it to funk right!!

Determined not to give up we did the only thing you can in a funked up situation like this and went straight to the Church of Love, got on our knees and prayed to the Holy Father of Funk he would help finish us off...

It was a miracle, our prayers were answered, leaving us with less pants and more party!!

And that folks is the short story of how "He Flutes He Scores" became a smash hit in the Flute and Bass Chart!!
