Written on an uneventful day during lockdown here in the UK... this piece evokes the feelings of every day being the same with little differences... and the light at the end of the tunnel is a long way away!!!

Starless Night

At the age of 16 I played the game "Naruto Shipudden: Ultimate Ninja 4" (English Version: Naruto Shippuuden: Narutimate Accel). 
When I beat the game this track was played at the end. I listened to it and it was and still is absolutely amazing!  
So I tried to cover it with fruity loops and it took me 2 whole weeks! I imported it into Ableton and added some chill beats to it.

This piece of music was originally recorded for a challenge on The Piano Cloud - the idea was to create a piece of music by which you would be proud to be remembered. I didn't quite manage that, but the challenge did make me reflect on how my writing has progressed from simplistic, through complex, back to the realisation that simple is sometimes all that's needed.

Purple Rhapsody is instrumental music - 'emotions without words' is the tagline and that's what it's about.
