Although the investigators were diligent tagging the whispering in the Infantry Room, we believe one of the fundraiser guests was responding to the statements being made by mumbling uh-huh underneath her breath.  It is human nature to respond to comments and statements being made without realizing that you are doing it.  Even experienced investigators on occasion slip.

Prior to our investigation at Hacienda de la Luna in Bernalillo, New Mexico, we did a site visit of the property.  This EVP was captured in one of the rooms of the hacienda.  You can hear other investigators talking in the courtyard during this capture.  Lore has it that during the civil war, artifacts from the Catholic Church in Bernalillo were hidden in the floors somewhere in the hacienda.  The Union Army thwarted the Confederates advance into the Bernalillo area, but legend has it that the gold chalices, candlesticks etc. remained hidden and were never returned to the church.  In the mid 80's the property was rented out and when the owners came to collect unpaid rent, they discovered the tenant long gone and 3 feet by 4 feet holes in the floors.  Could this response be in regards to the possible stolen articles from the church?

"Return It" Evp -- Hacienda De La Luna

At the beginning of 2019 we were fortunate to investigate the Legal Tender in Lamy, New Mexico while the restaurant was being renovated.  The town, as small as it is, was totally shut down for the evening.  No one else was in the building or immediate area when this EVP was captured.  My husband and I were playing Blackjack in the El Capital Room.  What is astonishing is the fact that I had such low cards and kept asking for my husband to deal to me three more times after the initial two cards.  Not being a poker player myself, I didn't realize that you automatically win with 5 cards as long as they don't exceed 21.  But as I am being dealt the 5th card, you hear an EVP of a man say, "five cards."  Now did this spirit have knowledge that I had five cards or that five cards was a winning hand.  Interesting to say the least.

An investigator is talking about being in another paranormal group and the group's reluctance to try new equipment.  At .02 you hear "Help," at .18 you hear singing of the French nursery rhyme, Frere Jacques.  What's remarkable is that ten minutes later we all speak in different languages to try to communicate with spirits due to the fact that early settlers were European.  An investigator says, "Parlez-Vous Francais?" The ovilus then says, "we" which phonetically is comparable to "oui" in French (meaning yes).  Early settlers that came to Corrales in 1879 were French.  They specialized in growing grapes.
