Nino Purp, an aspiring artist from New Orleans, La, was always musically inclined due to his passion and skill with live instruments. It wasn’t long until his gift for writing poetry inspired him to eventually pick up a microphone and start to record music. While in college along with a few friends, they started a group "Da g.0.0.d.FeLLaZ” (Going Our Own Direction) in 2008. When the founding members of the group decided to go their own directions, Nino Purp took the initiative to carry the brand himself and released a solo project entitled W.A.C.K. (Way Above Cool Kids) (2009). With a few years of ups and downs under his belt, Nino Purp was focused on taking his career to another level. As his confidence, vision, and skills were on the rise two mixtapes, PurP Muzik (2011) and Purple Reign (2012) soon followed. Nino Purp uses a “thumbs down" logo to show exactly where the grind started from and to remind him of the place where the lack of effort can lead you. Now, Nino Purp is using his new found brand Purp Muzik to promote his music and lifestyle. Nino Purp released his debut single: “Rider” ft.Shorty (Mr.Tipsy) & Miss Ashley Renay. Being nominated for Hottest Collabartion for the NOLO Hip Awards after being played on radio station "Q93".
