Toronto raised rapper Purpose has always been influenced by his faith and music. He was born into a Christian household so his exposure to who Jesus Christ is was there from a very early age. His mother wanted to insure that Purpose understood the importance of knowing Christ for himself so she poured on him the knowledge and importance of this relationship. As he started growing, he began to question a lot about the world around him and his place in it, mainly his purpose. Upon finding out what his purpose on Earth is, he soon realized that he isn't the only one with this question. So he started using his music to communicate his faith and what our purpose is.
