MIX: Apukuna - This One's For Your Feet

Live recording of the final set of music for the High Vibe Fest 2022 outside Nevada City, California. Helping bring the event to a stillness I got to mix together some of my favorite ambient tracks from artists such as East Forest, Poranguí, Liquid Bloom & Yaima. 

This soundscape rides the waves of deep earth medicine before arising into moments of downtempo grooves and cascades into a closing prayer by Ram Dass. The final track features the musical tones from the most recent release of the Kuya Sessions "Return to Source" - A commissioned work from Poranguí & Liquid Bloom for Ketamine & MDMA assisted therapy.

Power- this word
Often misconstrued 
What does it mean?
What is its proper use?

Is power something
That you can own?
Can it be taken from you?
Is it something we loan?

There’s external power

Ecstatic Dance Journey at Totality Festival, in San Diego CA 𓆃 Weaving together a mix of the vibrations of nature, with deep bass drops, choppy unexpected flows, ethereal tones and emotive songs to bring you into a hypnotic meditative state. 

Zana's sets are accompanied with Live vocals and instruments that you only to get experience if you join her live! 

The first 6 minutes of the set was accompanied with vocals & flute, so skip to 5 minutes for the bangers to begin.

This set was played at the sold out Earthen Halloween II event at Earthen Hallow outside of Asheville. We dance under the stars and in front of an intentional bonfire honoring the ancestors.

It's a bit darker than most of my sets with the intention of capturing the spirit of the crow and the wisdom and magic that they carry. 

Special thanks to everyone who made it out to get down in the grass to this set.

Fly Butterfly Fly

Upon this morning sun with golden ray,
Did paint the sky in hues vibrant and new,
A butterfly, in graceful, bright display,
Took flight, and from the meadows, upward flew.

Its wings, a tapestry of colors rare,
Did catch the light, and glistened in its glow,
A wondrous sight, it floated through the air,
Its path uncharted, yet it seemed to know.

As winds whispered softly to its frame,
It danced and fluttered, free from all tether,
Through boundless skies, with never a hint of shame,
It journeyed on, with courage and splendor.

Oh, butterfly, your flight inspires me,
To venture into the unknown, this time free.
