With the end of the year in sight, we reached out and set out the call for some uncut gems that the most elusive producers were crafting in silence.

Elusive Mind is kicking things off with Breathless, combining haunting chants and orchestral chords chugging through the ether.

2088 returns with a deeply ambient infused soundscape with countless sounds out of every day life and combining those with dissonant out of this world synths in So Hot.

Bob Tosh brings us Ninfo, a perculating and mesmerising showcase full off stabs and squelches delivering a unique piece for this VA.

FiveP brings us melancholic chords combined with gliding resonating synths and crunching basslines. LO:UX closes this VA with Schiller, an anthem for the deep dark dancefloors in deserted warehouses.

Luum Records is proud to present “Promise”, a striking new 4-track EP from one of Luum’s label members, Kris Dur (The Soundgarden, Mango Alley). Blending deep grooves, immersive textures, and cinematic atmospheres, this release embodies the heart of progressive house while venturing into darker, more experimental territory.

The title track “Promise” builds around a hypnotic pulse, layering delicate melodic fragments into a slow-burning journey that feels both intimate and expansive. Its counterpart, the Breaks Mix, strips the rhythm back and reimagines the piece with heightened emotion and cinematic depth, perfect for after-hours moments of release.

With “Spectral Memory” Kris Dur delves into shadowy layers and haunting atmospheres, pairing driving percussion with ghostlike melodies that linger long after the track ends. Closing the EP, “Outbreak” raises the intensity with tense builds and raw, propulsive energy. A peak-time weapon designed to ignite the dance floor.

With “Promise EP”, Luum establishes itself as a name to watch, delivering a collection that speaks equally to mind and body. Storytelling through sound — crafted for the floor, yet destined to echo far beyond it.

With the world locked down, we decided to unlock our vault of hidden gems. Deep and warm tunes to deliver the heat in these cold months. 

Ata Ates kicks things off with Invisible Connection. Intricate call and response melodies, synth stabs and luscious chords are able to push the envelope of the Pursuit sound. 

Our duo Bob Tosh and Be Saint deliver to us Poetica. A jarring melody which keeps skipping and hopping, keeping you guessing where this wordless hymn moves to. 

Subgate & Joey White deliver us Astral, which could accompany a space opera with its melancholic sounds and white noise perc hits. 

Friend of the family 2088 returns once again with Connection, showcasing how he is moving from strength to strength on Pursuit. 

Siva Prayojan closes the VA with We Need Us, an ethnic Mediterranean fueled composition, leaving us longing for when the sun goes down.

2088 - Connection

Truesoul begins 2021 with a lush two-tracker from Pig&Dan.

Pig&Dan were prolific for Adam Beyer’s labels in 2020, gifting us a trio of EPs on Truesoul’s big brother imprint Drumcode. With the dawning of a new year comes a timely follow up to 2019’s superlative ‘Promised’.

‘Telegraphy’ is vintage Pig&Dan, balancing laser-kissed euphoria with an organic grooving bottom end. ‘Glide’ goes deeper into progressive territory, without losing its uplifting energy as shimmering melodies swirl against a bed of punchy drums and an irresistible snaking bassline.
