When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. But when life gives you Dennis Apec, you sure as hell make sure that you are able to release him on your label. Because that is what happened earlier this year on the Dancefair in the Netherlands when Dennis Apec handed over his demo-usb to Pursuit.

Rob Hes had just launched his label and hosted a demo-drop at one of the largest dance-seminars for upcoming producers in the Netherlands. With much to his surprise, Dennis’ demo immediately blew Rob’s mind. The two producers stayed in touch and started sending feedback and tracks back and forth. The first release was only a matter of time.

With his first track on Wild Cards “Bring Me Home” gave us already a sneak preview of his sound, but the In My Mind EP really delivers the goods. Three solid corkers that absolutely exemplify what Pursuit represents. Strong grooves and soaring melodies. Please welcome Dennis to the family with your feedback.

And to up the exposure even more, Teenage Mutants have delivered one hell of a remix of the title track. Bringing their unique sound to the table, while keeping a close eye to the original is the perfect closer for every peak time set.

Opening the release is the original mix of “Cento”, which takes no time to get going with its high energy, groove filled, fiery acid and fast-flowing rhythms. 'Empty Soul' opens the EP with pulsating epic synths and hints of euphoria, before things get dark and acidic with 'Deconstruction'. Track three 'Aryon' has a twisted melody reminiscent of UMEK's classic track 'Gatex', and closing the EP is a cinematic intro intro mix 'Deconstruction'.
