The prolific artist Rafael Cerato lands on Sincopat with an energetic outstanding EP that includes an avant-garde remix by Italian born but Spain based maestro Bawrut.Swag it's like a roller coaster ride that masterfully opens the EP, the Bawrut's remix brings it to a new level of conceptualism and space to enjoy, preferably to be enjoyed with very loud speakers in a club.The Magic continues the journey with a strong indie flavour and superb vocals.Was not easy to select the order of the tracks on this release and Ritual it is another good proof of that, pulsating percussive synths perfectly executed and a great vocals by Thomas Gandey make of the track another bomb.Rotor closes this timeless EP with a catchy melody that will be hard to get out of your head once you listen.

Several Definitions - Mairan

Following major league releases on Afterlife and his own imprint Apparition, Dutchman VNTM makes his debut on Spectrum, stamping down his pristine melodic techno mark on the label's 20th release.

'Deceiving Tendencies' and 'Disrupting Machines': evocative titles for these apocalyptic times. Two tracks, two universes, two transcendental opportunities to momentarily leave this reality and be whisked away on huge, swooping sonic waves. 'Deceiving Tendencies' takes the lead; A widescreen progressive tale laced with tense strings and soaring textures that lift you gently but make no promise to bring you back down to earth. Meanwhile 'Disrupting Machines' keeps us in deep space. Expect premium zero-gravity feels as the track's elements appear to float around us and the unhurried, palpitating groove gradually twists in and out of the stars, light years away from the current realities.

For this remix pack, we attracted friend of the family Raphael Mader for a truly epic breakbeat extravaganza, which takes the original into completely new territories. Uncanny and unique, just how we like it.

Black Peters known from his releases on Afterlife and Oddity gives a more noire edge to The Age of Innocence. Gritty bass-stabs cut through the mix like a cleaver.

Voices of the Valley bring this ethereal quality to the mix, with melancholic chords and counter-leads to accompany the original.

With the continuous expanding sound of Pursuit, we recently reached out to our fanbase for an exclusive remix-contest partnering with Ableton and Lessons in Live. With a community of creators, were overwhelmed by all the successful tracks we received.

Our pick for the win is the talented Tensive Line! Tensive Line came through with unique sound-design, completely overturning the original into something brand new. Mesmerizing and wondrous, a worthy edition to this remix pack.

Stockholm's Ozgur Can brings his atmospheric house style to two new tunes on Stripped Down, while a Sasha Carassi remix completes this fantastic package.
 
Ozgur Can is a producer and audio-engineer who has been putting out all manner of house, tech and prog fusions since 2003. He also releases as Autonomi amongst other aliases, and has landed on established labels like Truesoul, Cocoon and Sincopat.
 
He kicks off this latest missive with the dark and sultry 'Chance.' Spoken word vocals lend the heavy groove and warped bassline real intimacy while tension builds through the sleek synths. It all adds up to a perfectly heady house track for those cosy dancefloor moments. 'We In Minor' is another well crafted, deep cut house groove, but this one has a more expansive, epic sense of drama. The busy cosmic synth sequences bring the track to life and ensure maximum impact.
 
Sasha Carassi might be an Italian veteran but he is still filled with fresh ideas and always brings that to the fore with his big techno tunes on Drumcode, Unrilis and Diynamic. His superb remix keeps you on a tantalising knife-edge. It has bright, sharp synths cutting through the rubbery bass while an ever present sense of turbulence unfolds up top.

LOWLITA Records was born from the union of the set of values, connections and experiences of its creators: Gonçalo Miranda, Anna Tur and Hosse. A label with an identity and foundations based on the groove of house music and its fusion with techno and industrial forcefulness. Their first release is by Gonçalo and Anna Tur, who in recent years have reached a perfect understanding on an artistic level. An extraordinary synergy that can be perceived both in their multiple performances together as well as in joint projects and in the studio. And the proof of this is in the two original tracks that make up the EP "Caught in the Club". The homonymous track "Caught in the Club" opens the EP, an intense track with vocals that manage to lift the listener. The rhythmic base and the bass give off bursts of energy that maintain the tension throughout its more than seven minutes. The small melodic touches of the synth bring freshness to the track that will not go unnoticed in any set. The EP continues with a remix by Spartaque that is 100%% forcefulness from the first second. There is no room for respite, the acid bassline and the inclusion of the vocals support the leitmotif of the original track. The upward drop midway through the composition really blows up the track, marking a before and after in a set. The appearance of the syncopated and epic synth is as surprising as it is unforgettable, making "Caught in the Club" an essential track, perfect for the most climactic moment of the night. And finally, the second original track closes the EP: "KAP Evening", a track that moves in areas closer to tech house. The bass line stands out, in charge of making the dancefloor move. In some parts, the synth creates clear industrial reminiscences, closer to techno. We cant forget to mention the drop which is intense and effective, resulting in another perfect tool to move the audience in any club or festival. The artwork also deserves a special mention, as it is an original piece by LUIO ONASSIS DEL ZAU, a Portuguese graphic artist who will be in charge of all the label's visual creativities.

'Spheal' is a punchy peak time gem, melodious but with the emphasis on the energy and intensity, this a biggie.

Label fave Darse steps up on remix duties, taking this deeper, but still with depth, drive but here adding some space, and an air of mystique. 

'Anxiety' is next, and as the title suggests, its quite a dramatic offering here, as an incessant and haunting arp gets in to your mind, over a wash of dance floor drama.

To round off the package, Mool, who is no stranger to Nightcolours, brings us to a solid re-touch, taking the pace down, yet keep the wonderful franticness with his own superb twist.'
