Label boss Demuir returns to the label to showcase 3 original track and 1 DUB to show his artistic range and the exact vibe of the label.  The title track, Stop Your Mind" is not for the predictable.  The track's thicc bass and beats have a rolling bass driven aesthetic from start to finish guided by a vocal instructing your audience to let go and "Stop" overthinking and just breathe.

The next layer jumps over to a stripped down Jackin' groove called, "Lemme Hear It" with more audience interaction that check in on how people are feeling with Demuir's signature drum work and swinging bassline carried by ballroom vocals.  A Dub version of this one is included to spark creativity in your set.

Leading with early support from Harry Romero in his BBC Radio 1 mix, Demuir  & Andre Salmon deliver a modern version of a sexy and driving track called, "Women Were Born to Luv",  followed by unprecedented remix support from the likes of Kenny Dope, Carlo Lio, and Valentino (CA) formerly of The Junkies.

"I originally wrote this tune back in 2008 in Reason as I was getting my production itch to return to the music industry after seeing Carlo Lio, Nathan Barato, and The Junkies playing at Footwork (now Coda) in Toronto's emerging Tech House scene.  I always loved the sincerity and sexiness in the vocal and sat on it for some time and brought it back just prior to the pandemic got in full swing.  As things are re-opening, it only makes sense for this one to be part of the 'feel good aesthetic' that awaits us." - Demuir

Andre Salmon provides modern enhancements to the original mix and arrangement whilst keeping the hypnotizing percussion loop and vocal as the focal point of the track matched by Demuir's expressive bassline and stabs that lock firmly with the dancefloor.   Andre's precise tuning of the hats and already present percussive bassline keeping the track pulsing throughout.

Kenny Dope makes his first appearance on Purveyor Underground making space in the mix and offering a profound twist to the vocal with his skilled use of effects.  He also elevated the track with his interpretation of the bassline and seasoned b classic MAW style percussion and swing that sit nicely in the track.

As if to provide Demuir a reminder of listening to them during a late-night / after-hours set, Carlo Lio and Valentino make known a big room tech-based sound that can be heard from the likes of a  Dubfire and early Plastikman set. The booming kick followed by complex layered subs places the vocal in leveled-up sphere.

Tech house, on the other hand, is a genre of electronic dance music that typically has a more minimalistic and mechanical sound, with a strong emphasis on rhythm and percussion. Prince.L has fused these elements in a way that we can get within the choice cuts of "Rosario" and "Ya Hear Right". After devoting nearly two decades to electronic music, Baum is now enjoying the best days of his professional career as both a DJ and a producer. His love and commitment to music is evident in all his endeavors, particularly when he's playing music in front of a packed dancefloor. As a DJ, Baum's sole objective is to get people moving with his house music, which can range from tech to deep, festive to sober, and classic to sophisticated.

He is playing in several elrow shows, one of the most powerful nightlife brands in the industry, for many years, visiting lots of clubs in Spain, Europe, America and the Middle East as well as major events like the Monegros Desert Festival. As a producer, Baum is multi-faceted, with tracks featured on labels such as Edible, Rawthentic, Circus or Issues among others. He also serves as an A&R for elrow music and operates his own label, Baumhaus, which seeks to discover promising new producers and release his own music. All in all, Baum is an avid music lover who lives and breathes electronic music.

Demuir has provided electronic music an astounding set of releases on high profile labels in 2019 including Hot Creations, Desolat, and Origins representing Demuir’s dynamic range of diversity that continues here.

First up is “To Be A Star” featuring Phil Weeks. The track’s vocal takes center stage here whilst sitting comfortably on a heavy and mesmerizing bassline with backing support from thumping beats and intelligent Jackin’ snare work that defines Chicago Jacking House. The track also embeds a seemingly emotional set of chord stabs that help emphasize the irony in the vocal’s subject. A state-of-a-union like address that all those involved in electronic music can connect with and understand.

Next is “Pretty Looks” a track Demuir describes as “Exceptionally RAW” in everything it presents from the cutting snares, thunderous kick, and the tricked out Fender Rhodes loop punched up with a memorable bassline and vocal audiences are sure to enjoy. The vocal taunts the listener with “That’s It” and “...look pretty for the PIC-CHURRRRE!”

The EP moves into a Hip Hop inspired Tech House trip in “Just Ain’t Good Enough”. The vocals pack a battle-esque punch with every word while the 808 subby bassline loops throughout and easily feeling like a conversation being had. The drums take special notice here as they are absent of the typically subscribed Tech House sounds making rounds in today’s music - thus allowing this one to stand out.

Our symbol goes back to time where African American slaves were fleeing in search of their freedom to understand the truth in freedom by breaking free from the chains and running away from oppression.  This symbol was carved in the floors of various sympathetic churches and homes through the Underground Railroad that helped slaves escape the horrific untruth in their lives to find true freedom and to be recognized as contributing human lives in society.
