Byron delivers a sophisticated and diverse production with "A F R I C A" with its emphasis on bending reverberated percussion and Dilla-esque treatment of a reversed piano sample which allows the track to easily fall into a House and Deep House sets.

With previous releases on Shall Not Fade, Anjunadeep, and Purveyor Underground Limited, Byron is a favorite amongst producers with his vast production skillset and deep soulful vibe against a background of hard-hitting drums. We love this man!

Our symbol goes back to time where African American slaves were fleeing in search of their freedom to understand the truth in freedom by breaking free from the chains and running away from oppression.  This symbol was carved in the floors of various sympathetic churches and homes through the Underground Railroad that helped slaves escape the horrific untruth in their lives to find true freedom and to be recognized as contributing human lives in society.
