Acid Landscape

A generative patch I made up featuring interactions between Quadra/Expander in cycle mode, Batumi, and Function, with offsets provided by Triatt.

The coolest thing (to me anyway) about the way all these modules interact is the ease with which gestural phrases emerge, and how small tweaks and shifts will radically alter the way these phrases play out in the system.

Animalog

I installed and ran a test of my newest module, Ornament and Crime, in CopierMaschine mode, a quad quantizing sample and hold unit.

It took me a bit to figure out how to control things (to a degree) and it's clear this module has extreme potential.

In this case Batumi through SISM is controlling pitch and octave information sent to O&C. Three voices are being used.

O&C channel A goes to Dixie II+. Channel B goes to Rubicon, which is being FM'ed by Dixie II+. Channel C goes to Maths, where the final output is being used. All voices are being fed into SubMix6, into the Toppobrillo Multifilter, which is receiving envelope CV from Maths and some modulation from Batumi as well.

Effects are all ITB, using NI Molekular, Replika, and Valhalla Room.

Frankly, it's just kind of cool to hear polyphonic sound all working together coming out of my rack!
