The opening song of our set. The "gun" revers to empowerment and self confidence. It gets the crowd excited and moving. Using a radio sample in the beginning to make it sound more edgy and contemporary. The listener doesn't know what they can expect. 

Gun - (from album Secrets Half-Revealed)

The song after which the album is titled. It's a story about how a girl meets a guy. She likes him in the beginning but is later disgusted by him. Relationships never work out for her and she is fed up of being single. It's a real story the lead singer had been and is still experiencing.

An unreleased Pusca song which we have performed live a few times. Was due be part of the second album. About falling in love with your friend, someone who's close to you. A romantic folky tune. 

I Surrender

a heavy rock song about taking a guy to the cinema to watch a horror movie and then taking that as an excuse to get close to him. Very catchy tune. 

Horror Movie

The most 'Indie' song of Pusca. About a girl who likes a boy but then he gets off with so many other girls. In the end when he finally decides to go with her she turns her back on him and shows him that he has missed his chance.

No Way

Pusca are a band from North London, fronted by a German chanteuse. Taking the narrative cues from traditional English and Celtic folk music, their material touches on the social and the personal, placing the story as the song. Their set recalls numerous musical influences that fuse into a dynamic Alt/Indie/Americana sound with a West Coast feel. 

Edith Sitwell described them as, ‘Pearl Jam meets The Smiths at a party Lou Reed threw for Blondie.’
