With the anniversary of our debut EP 'woah' coming up - we wanted to share some of the demo's with you. 

This originally started off as a story by my mate Zac explaining what the California Superbloom was and how rare it is. Later on that evening we started jamming and purely as a joke I started singing about it but no one laughed.

With the anniversary of our debut EP 'woah' coming up - we wanted to share some of the demo's with you.

We decided to try as little elements as possible from the off. So when the arpeggiated bass come's in, it feels like the missing part of the puzzle. The ending in the finished recording was a last minute decision when we were listening to Hans Zimmer. We just wanted an explosion of sound at the end to then bring us right back down into 'thor'. The opening line in the original 'Worst position in my life' was accidentally recorded after getting off the phone to our then record label. We pitched it up and it made the cut.
