We're delighted to welcome back the legendary German DJ and producer Alexander Kowalski to Illegal Alien Records. He has already done a couple releases with us, and now Alexander returns and makes his debut solo EP on Illegal Alien with a great release titled 'The Clouds of Metropolis', which offers three original tracks and also includes incredible remixes by the great D-Leria, raising talented producer from Colombia Insen and Illegal Alien's Ricardo Garduno, completing this amazing release.

Info: 
For Token’s 120th release, the imprint reintroduces scene favorite ORBE for another EP. Revered for his deep and viscous textures over stark rhythms, the Spaniard furthers his point in four calculated and layered examples.

Opening with deeply filtered synth work, ORBE takes his time to subtly introduce shrill tension in the first track, displaying control in a progressive arrangement. He’s quickly able to accentuate his intention with a single stab, providing a shimmer and a sharp edge to a rounder-bodied record. Turning over to Andromeda 2, we switch to a dryer lead with a convoluted ambiance, giving a driving track more structure through contrasted transitions. ORBE intensifies the rest of the cut with an electrifying noise circling around the mainland of his identifiably layered work. Alleviating some harshness from the main components, the artist dives into a more liquid and cavernous environment. Pressing through with sustained keys, ORBE continues to evoke a sense of suspense even in his more adventurous tracks. Anticipation rises and falls with the sustain of his resonant lead, taking us to the final chapter of Andromeda. To round off the cosmic voyage our artist departs with what, in the beginning, seems like another intimidating presentation of thick synthlines whipping across a steady rhythm -  but then comes a surprisingly ethereal pad, oscillating throughout Andromeda 4, to indicate a safe arrival from a nail-biting story.

PREMIERE: Linkan Ray - Four Layers (Temudo Remix)

Hi everyone, introduce you to the Extract series: music created during my live preformances. 

When performing Live I have a strong component of improvisation and control over midi sequencing, which leads to moments created spontaniously on stage that won't be replicable. Extract 01 corresponds to 5 minutes of my performance at Jardim Sonoro festival (2023), and to my interpretation this recording has a story to tell and lives by itself. Being also a DJ, the aim of the Extract series will be presenting music that can be played by DJ's, and I decided to release Extract 01 after playing it regularly (and naturally) on my sets. 

This is a vinyl only release (10") limited to 60 copies.

Mexico’s ANAØH returns for their next VA instalment of 10 tracks called Hate and Tenderness VI that features tracks from Casual Treatment, Fixon & Pushmann, Hemka, Dig-it, Unkle Fon & Irazu and more.

Tom Hades steps out of his usual name alignment with his Sigvard alias that has featured on imprints such as Index Marcel Fengler and Exos’ Planet X as well collaborating with fellow Belgian titan, Marco Bailey on his MATERIA and Fundaments LTD.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track called “Void” that is a spacey roller from the depths. Shuffling shakers and a throbbing groove create its dance floor appeal, and met with sci-fi drones as well as rising tension in the build up, it delivers a masterful lesson in suspense.

PUSHMANN produces a Detroitesque sound with clear and strong influence of European sound, Berlin and Birmingham. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener and take him or her to a higher level. Power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. His special attention and taste for metallic percussion and steel cavernous drums well located in front of everything, almost martia, or warlike.
