Hard to believe it’s been 3 years since Jungle Fire first graced the RNT Catalog, and now the west coast boys of summer are back with a 5-track remix EP of varied Latin soul funk vibes, reimagined by a stellar cast of remixers.

On the A-side, Colombian juggernaut Felipe Gordon takes Atómico fully nuclear with a stomping bass-heavy house remix, and JKriv goes elektrik with his Elektrikossa dub that sprinkles dubbed out and acid elements over a pulsating rubbery groove.

On the flip, turntablist Nu-Mark delivers a punchy breakbeat take on Atómico, Jungle Fire member Patrick Bailey goes full-on boogie vibes with his Snake In Da Bronx Dub of La Kossa, and the record winds down with the dubby halftime flavor of Samual Miles remix of Biri Biri. As of late, France has been a hotbed for up-and-coming house and disco labels, releasing some of the grooviest tunes pumped out on dance floors across the globe. Newly minted Groovence is no exception to this, bringing forth their their first label release with a various artists compilation that will leave your head buzzing, heart melting and feet stomping. VA releases can be hit or miss but « The Cosmic Groove EP' lives up to its name with funky, spaced out cuts that will have you calling Houston and assuring them that there is no problem.

Producer extraordinaire @lay-far joins the RNT roster with The Trinity EP, a 4-tracker showcasing his distinctive analog and beat-driven sound. The record opens with the lush ‘Searching for Your Love,’ layering jazzy electric piano and a haunting melan-cholic vocal over a driving broken groove. Slowing down briefly for the lowdown and dirty funk of the eponymous track of the record, we’re quickly back in bumping club territory on the bass-heavy pulse of ‘What It Is,’ and the classic sample-house sound of ‘You Can’t Stop The Profit’ takes the EP home. A beautifully crafted, and truly unique 12” from beginning to end!
