Hard to believe it’s been 3 years since Jungle Fire first graced the RNT Catalog, and now the west coast boys of summer are back with a 5-track remix EP of varied Latin soul funk vibes, reimagined by a stellar cast of remixers.

On the A-side, Colombian juggernaut Felipe Gordon takes Atómico fully nuclear with a stomping bass-heavy house remix, and JKriv goes elektrik with his Elektrikossa dub that sprinkles dubbed out and acid elements over a pulsating rubbery groove.

On the flip, turntablist Nu-Mark delivers a punchy breakbeat take on Atómico, Jungle Fire member Patrick Bailey goes full-on boogie vibes with his Snake In Da Bronx Dub of La Kossa, and the record winds down with the dubby halftime flavor of Samual Miles remix of Biri Biri. Hard Ton, Italy's extravagant duo of all things house music are back on Luv Shack Records, unleashing six steaming hot tracks on the "Queer Nation EP" - a precursor to the first full Hard Ton album that is due for 2017. "Queer Nation" has singer Max swapping his falsetto with a dark mangled voice, paying tribute to some essential queer icons over a dry acid house track that rejoices in repetition, and rightly so. "Classic Music" head-honcho and old timer Luke Solomon's remix of "Queer Nation" builds up an intense 707 drum pattern, underlining rhythm guitars and Max's voice, ending in a bold acid climax. Italian newcomers "Younger Than Me" also take on "Queer Nation", marrying an early 80's wave touch with a classic house approach. When Hard Ton pair up with ROTCIV, "Style Ga-Galore" awaits us. The cut up hushed vocals are thrown into a lush melange of filtered pad shots, a 303 bassline and a percussive house groove. "Yeah Yeah" featuring Moralez & Sames is an ode to early Detroit and Chicago house, with Max singing vigorously, syncopated hihats swirling and stabs nodding towards lil Louis. The final track is a LeSale disco dub of "The Way You Rock feat. Mirror People". LeSale strips the original drums completely, rearranging the vox, piano and synths to fit his disco workout edit style, adding a cheeky synth bassline to complete the boogie redress. “Over Paradise” is the second track taken from the forthcoming Echoes of Paradise EP on a brand new vinyl label out of Washington, D.C. by the name of Better Listen Records. It starts off with a bit of a filtered disco vibe as sampled female vocals are played over a groovy beat and bass while some keys gently loop in the back. A high string line amps up the anticipation and boy does it deliver as the track takes off into a jazz funk fueled jam. Led by a jazzy flute and super groovy bass, the main stretch of this tune makes it impossible to keep your feet still. Keep your eyes peeled for this EP as we expect this one to be a hot commodity with the release just around the corner!
