After Media Monster and Lost And Found Files, Krystal Bell and Andreas Dorwarth return to Electrolyt with their newest release Escape To Mars. The Ep is featuring 4 tracks of electro-psychedelic bliss, once again proving the duo’s ability to create ear-worm-quality melodies, embedded deeply in tracks, which stray far beyond the usual conventions of modern dance music. At the same time, Lipstick pay respect to their roots in old-school electro, house, minimal, dreampop and spaced out indie-psychedelia.
Escape from Mars has been mastered and additionally mixed with great skill and understanding for Lipstick’s sound by Florian Malicke, who is one of the creative masterminds behind the German spacerock- electronica band Messer Brüder.
The beautiful artwork has been designed by Susana Licéaga of the Mexican dreampop-electronica project Aeropuerto.

Manchmal, da hat es so lange aufgehört zu regnen,
dass man die Sterne sehen konnte... und dann war es schön. 
Es war so, als wenn die Sonne schlafen geht, unten am Fluss.
Es waren… es waren Millionen Glitzerlichter auf dem Wasser. 
Oder so wie der Bergsee. Er war so klar Jenny... es hat ausgesehen,
als ob da zwei Himmel wären - einer auf dem anderen. 
Dann in der Wüste kurz bevor die Sonne rauskam - ich wusste nie,
wo der Himmel aufhörte.. und die Erde... anfing. Es war wunderschön.

Ich wünschte, ich wäre mit dir da gewesen.

Das warst du.

Ich liebe dich.

Du bist an einem Samstagmorgen gestorben. Und mit dir starb ein Teil von mir.
