This song was made for a music jam with the theme "Soaking Wet In The Rain". We decided to work together on a song with a little backstory to it and settled on the following idea:
A young couple experienced their first romance together until the protagonist was left behind. An obsession about this past love starts and the protagonist makes a voodoo doll of their former lover. They leave the doll outside in the rain inside of a heart-shaped gift box they once cherished. The doll is slowly submerged in rain water.
