Hey everyone! First of all, thanks you so much for taking the time to listen to this EP. In the Next 2 minutes, imma quickly run you over how the ep came to be, what inspired it etc.
All of these songs are products of 'impulse sessions', so to speak, which is what i like to call the sessions i do after something emotionally taxing's happened in my life. I usually take about a day for these tracks, no more, which is really reflected in the imperfect and 'unfinished' aesthetic of the EP i believe.
A bunch of the tracks were super inspired by a love interest that kind of went sideways, some inspired by friendship, the list goes on and on.
Musically, I was super influenced by video-game music, IDM, Glitch-music, future bass, indie and bedroom pop, as well as lofi, which i believe you can really hear if you listen closely. I used a lot of synthetic elements in this EP (in retrospect probably ONLY synth elements, but yeah) and kind of refrained from organic sounds, which was supposed to be a testament to my love for the electronic music scene and sound design.
Ok, i won't bother you with my rambling any longer, here goes!
