Jon Gray has been making compilations and mixes for friends since the 80s on cassettes, vinyl decks, mini-discs, CDs and (since 2011) posting multi-genre mixes on Soundcloud. Brought up on 70s and 80s Soul, he discovered early Hip-Hop, 90s UK House and then Acid Jazz, Trip-Hop and Drum n Bass. 

From around 2000, friends started running parties such as Blonde (AKA/The End), Secretsundaze, Mulletover, Tangerine and Superfreq, leading to House and Tech House becoming a big part of Jon’s listening life.
