A bass wave of sound sweeps out across the known universe, higher pitched sounds signal the arrival of the Starship Enterprise. This is episode 2million of that famous series. A quick round of applause from its galactic audience (much like a beat). More Star ship sounds. A nicely stitched together mix. The illustration suggests cars on a race track, but we both know that is not the actuality of this.

A return to metal after the more shoegaze influenced Somniferum.

This track was initially much darker lyrically. But I found that I just couldn't continue writing such depressing lyrics. So it became more positive, rather than being a song entirely about darkness and struggle; it became one more about resiliance and strength. It became especially about the role my religion plays in my life.

I am also really happy with how the production turned out on this. I learnt a lot while making Somniferum and I hope it reflects in the song. Let me know what you think of the mixing and mastering.

As a general update, I actually still am working on that album I started back when Wither... dropped at the start of the year. I'd hoped to have had it done by now but my poor physical health over the last few months has made it incredibly difficult to maintain any sort of consistant working schedule. I've also decided to take a couple of weeks off from making music. In the last few months, I've released a mixtape and several singles, all entirely written, recorded and produced by me. While I absolutely love doing this, I think I need a short break mainly for my physical health. When I start back up, I'll be working on that album. Thank you for being patient. If you have any complaints, write a detailed letter adressed to the entire species of staphylococcus aureus, the world's supply seems to be currently concentrated in my lungs.
