Born in São Paulo and now based in Naarm/Melbourne, DJ and producer BERGA brings over two decades of musical exploration to the electronic scene. Starting as a self-taught drummer, he evolved into a multi-instrumentalist with a deep passion for sonic storytelling. BERGA crafts immersive journeys for the listener, blending hypnotic rhythms with organic textures, creating a sound that is both raw and profoundly evocative. Known for his groovy, hypnotic techno, BERGA thrives in intimate club settings and at festivals, seamlessly weaving different genres and tempos while incorporating live instruments such as guitar, drums, and synths. His unique blend of influences, drawn from jazz, gospel, and Brazilian music, gives his productions a distinctive authenticity and emotional depth. This has earned him support from artists like MARRØN and key figures in the global electronic music scene.

BERGA is the co-founder of Opportunity, a Melbourne/Naarm-based art collective dedicated to showcasing new artists and fostering connections through music and art.
