▸ JOTON:
The Spanish Underground electronic scene would not be the same without Jotón, a respected DJ and producer who has been dignifying his profession and designing unconventional sounds for more than 20 years. From his studio in the city of León, he has managed to create his own style based on the most orthodox Techno which has been imitated by artists from all over the world. He is also the founder of the label Newrhythmic, with which he has supported national and international artists for more than 2 decades.

Joton is a tireless and prolific creator. His work has been published by labels as important as Fabric, Modularz, Quartz, Odd Even, Symbolism, Planet Rhythm, Raw Raw, Dynamic Reflection or Skryptöm. Furthermore, his work has been played by artists such as Ben Klock, Dvs1, Rodhad, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Truncate or Go Hiyama.

In 2015 he released his first album ‘Casting Out Nines’, a work that received excellent reviews from the specialized press and conquered Techno lovers. ‘Casting Out Nines’ was undoubtedly one of the best albums of that year and moreover, it was presented in 10 countries in 3 different continents.

2017 saw the release of his second major project, ‘R3silient’, in which Jotón delved into his purest and most analogue side, and thanks to which returned to the roots of Techno. In 2018 he releases two new works, `Antioquia ́ on German label ODD EVEN and `Extreme Mesures ́ on RAW RAW.

Jotón complements his DJ/Producer facet with teaching. His Production Courses are interactive experiences in which the student gets to perfect his technique and shape his sound. His latest album `Hikikomori ́ was born from these courses in 2021. `Hikikomori ́ could be defined as a collaborative work with students and friends that narrates the experience of isolation produced by the pandemic.

Jotón has been a protagonist in the booths of some of the best clubs in the world. Temples such as Under club (Buenos Aires), Tresor (Berlin), Vault Sessions (Amsterdam), Rex club and Le Batofar (Paris), Corsica Studios (London), Grelle Forelle (Vienna), Propaganda (Moscow), Domunne (Tokyo), Vurt (Seoul), Liquid Club (Malta), Gare (Porto), Razzmatazz and Moog (Barcelona), Stardust and Fabrik (Madrid) , Tunnel (Pareira) and many more.

We are thrilled to have him on board and present an impeccable show that delivers the talent and experience of someone who has dedicated his life to techno music. 

Millimetric, forceful, and dark, the music of Bernardo Hangar has not only not lost an iota of the strength it had when it began, but listened to today –in an age of tireless copying of the past-, it seems just as necessary as then.

Delve into the sound of the raw darkest generation. Solid techno for a proper advanced dancefloor.

The Spanish Techno movement in the 90ies has names - one of them is Bernardo Hangar. 

Born in Córdoba, Bernardo Hangar is a true veteran of the Andalusian Techno scene. It was typical at that time (the 90s) to see him walking his suitcase of vinyl -in which some classics are worth their plastic in gold- through the best clubs and some of the most important festivals held in Spain. 

He began by subduing his style with the explosion of Electronic Body Music, making him one of the most avant-garde and risky artists in southern Europe.

One of the first genuinely underground DJs in our community, three decades living for his music and passion gave him an intrinsic connection to his work, reflected in multiple releases on labels such as Analog Solutions, Modularz, Default Series, and his label DarkForest. 

He left his mark and shaped the electronic music scene we enjoy nowadays. 
Bernardo Hangar's sound is innovative and avant-garde, providing an engaging experience into infinity.

Born in Spain his production resume includes releases on the best labels such as Token Records, Oscar Mulero’s Warm Up Recordings and PoleGroup, Semantica, MORD  and his very own Senoid Recordings being one of the best techno producers in the scene.
His sound is often imitated by many producers as recently a music magazine stated.

On top of his own releases on Senoid, the label already counts an illustrious cast of artists for its releases, including Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Exium, P.E.A.R.L. , Svreca and Tensal.

Well known for his unique,hypnotic and energetic productions supported by names like Rodhad, DVS1 ,Oscar Mulero and many more, has became an essential artist in the techno scene in Spain and foreign.

His well-curated sets have seen Kike perform in some of Europe’s leading stages and rooms, including Tresor Berlin, Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Fabrik in Madrid, Propaganda in Moscow, Mosaique ST Petersburg, Liquid Club in Malta, Melkweg Amsterdam and many  more sharing the stage with world-class artists .

S.E.R.E.S. is his alter ego with releases in Semantica and Envra labels owned by Svreca and also in Polegroup label and Warm Up Recordings.
