A Beatles medley arranged by me. I was struck by the similarity of the drum beat in Ticket to Ride and Tomorrow Never Knows and when linked with Getting Better, they seem to illustrate the emotional/psychological journey Lennon was undertaking in the two short years between Help (1965) and Sgt Pepper (1967).

Marriage is hard - you've got to work to make it work. This was actually very loosley inspired by the Rober Palmer song Work To Make It Work which I allways took to be about the commitment necessary to make marraiage work but when I actually read the lyrics from begining to end it seems to be more about the virtues of hard work and self reliance - fair enough - but it left a gap in the market for me ;)

EK Confidential Intro Teaser

A tongue-in-cheek noir homage to East Kilbride in the early seventies. A nostalgic lookback to falling in love for the first time and the old home town that makes us who we are. I've had a bit of fun reimagining EK as a glamorous American city from yesteryear 'cause as everyone knows, when you're young and in love anywhere can feel like Hollywood.
