Born and raised in Turku, Finland the DJ/Producer and part-time candy officer " is @selidos currently one the most interesting exports Finland has to offer. Selidos has also taken the role of a curator within the local clubbing scene with his and his friends' new record label @maukas-records.
His DJ sets are a sophisticated combination of stripped back grooves and raw emotions, unfolding in a hypnotic blend of sonic makeup, navigating the rugged paths of his pliable imagination. The same goes with his own productions where he holds contagious rhythms, inimitable bleeps and dreamy ambiences as core elements to his sound. With releases on @berg_audio, Dirty Hands Records, @howlrecords, @nerangrecordings and his indie bandcamp releases amongst other outlets, more and more original music is on its way. Being one of the most regular faces in the undercurrent scene of Turku, as well as sporadic appearances in the DJ-booths of Helsinki, Tallinn, Breda, Eindhoven and Amsterdam, Selidos has plenty of exciting news to share.

There's nothing better for us than to kick off the year with a new FYEM mix recorded by our close friend Soultape, and we are also pleased to announce that it's his first own production mix.

Here's a fact, Denis was a part of Double Sound² many years ago. And we are grateful to him for everything we did together.

You most likely know Denis as one half of Adjustment Bureau producer duo well known for their releases on Mayak, Pleasure Zone, Haze, Morning People, and other labels. A little secret, after a few years, the guys will soon be back with new music.

In the meantime, Denis is into his alter ego and eponymous vinyl label, Soultape. The imprint has three solo releases to date and the first VA release under Soultaper, where you will find the remixes of Denis' original works from Romanian, Azerbaijan, and Ukrainian producers.

Let's not get tired of saying over and over again. We believe that music is the highest form of art that can unite people, erase borders between countries and continents, overcome language barriers, travel to the ends of the universe, and find the spark in the depths of their souls.

Each track of the mix is a particular stage of the artist's life. Each track is an experience that instantly brings back specific moments or memories.

Andrey is definitely an artist to keep an eye on, not only as a dj, but also as a producer, having already many vinyl releases at labels such as Nervmusic or Arma Records with remixes from big artists like Rhadoo, Cabanne or Ion Ludwig, and even more to come in near future.
He has prepared for us 3 hours of music from one of his most recent performances, recorded at the begging of this month at Rondya Studio where he played in opening for Monogum’s  Birthday Party

-こちらのミックスはどちらでどのように収録されたのですか？

キエフにある私たちのスタジオで収録しました。

- コンセプトがあれば教えてください。

コンセプトは私たちの事を日本のリスナーに紹介する事だよ。現時点での私たちの心の状態を反映していて、いま自分たちがどの章にいるかを簡潔に伝える事を目指したよ。


-最近の活動を教えて下さい。

今年後半にリリース予定のトラックの仕上げに取り組んでいたり、アナログ機材だけを使用した私たちの次のライブセットの準備に集中している。また、今年のはじめから私たちのファースト・アルバムの制作にも取り組んでいるけど、これはまだ完成を急いではいないんだ。
