Time so switch it up! Nachdem uns Zigi SC im April mit einem DJ-Set beehrt hat, haben wir nun endlich auch eine Single von ihm im Portfolio. Der „Best DJ“ der „Czech & Slovak Bass Awards“ 2021 reiht sich damit in die Tradition von bisherigen UTM-Releases z.B. von L 33, Freqax oder Tobax ein, die augenscheinlich zunächst den klassischen Neurofunk bedienen, dann aber doch ihre ganz persönliche Note mit einbringen. Zigi SC liefert mit „Gravity Gun“ jedenfalls vollumfänglich ab. Bereits im Intro dreht er mächtig an der Gravitationsschraube und lässt nach aufkochendem Buildup einen mächtig zwingenden und gleichzeitig erhabenen 4-to-the-floor Stomper auf uns einprasseln. Das Ding ist wie geschaffen für die Peaktime im Club bzw. im Set. Mnohokrát děkuji, Zigi SC!

Time so switch it up! After Zigi SC honored us with a DJ set in April, we finally have a single from him in our portfolio. The “Best DJ” of the “Czech & Slovak Bass Awards” 2021 thus joins the tradition of previous UTM releases, e.g. from L 33, Freqax or Tobax, which apparently initially serve the classic Neurofunk, but then add their own personal touch to participate. In any case, Zigi SC delivers with “Gravity Gun” in full. Already in the intro he turns the gravitational screw and, after the buildup boils up, lets a powerful, compelling and at the same time sublime 4-to-the-floor stomper rain down on us. The thing is perfect for the peak time in the club or in the set. Mnohokrát děkuji, Zigi SC!

We kick off our Autumn release schedule by taking no prisoners. We found a glitch in the Matrix. And through this glitch a portal, that once you play Neurofunk Drum & Bass down it, that 2 futuristic cyber soldiers appear,
brandishing heavy drum & bass artillery and plenty of Prawn cocktail crisps for supplies.

What was even more shocking was that the 2 soldiers were future selves of producers `Cyntax` and `The Fi5th` Cyntax handed me over a dusty USB stick. patted me on the shoulder, before nodding to The Fi5th before jumping back down the portal just before it closed.

It took me a while to decrypt the USB but once I had done this, and had gone through its contents. I knew the future of Drum & Bass was in my hands, quite literally. 

The contents... 2 tracks depicting what Neurofunk Drum & Bass would sound like 10 years from now. 

I decided to show a few people, but was warned harshly that people would just not be ready for this type of cyber connected, audio, neuro-lization of the senses.

So it is without further ado, you have been warned before listening to the latest Dirtbox release at your own peril. This will change the landscape as we know it.

We throw on our 4 inch gloves on this one and get ready to smash your teeth down the back of the throat.

Heavy, violent Neurofunk. Catapulting into the first drop with a relentless grip on your nervous system.

Some may recognise this from multiple sets the past 12-15 months from the likes of Zombie Cats and Jade Its ever recognisable synth work flows tremendously across the track and audio programming is a pure 10/10 leaving you bloodied and battered from the Face Pound.

“Cyntax & The Fi5th- The Machines”

We finish off the release by bringing in extra reinforcements, The exciting sounds of The Fi5th bless this one with techno driving bass and epic synth stabs to disjoin your brain cells in every way possible.

A relentless juggernaut of Neuroscape sounds fill your ears and sends you to a far off place in your mind where you feel the robots have taken over, and this is their soundtrack.
