Pyu is a gypsy jazz guitar and trumpet player. He's traveled around the world to find new influences and expand his musical knowledge for 2 years and now he's established in switzerland, playing with several formations including the Pichette Klezmer Band and Linyeras Trio.
He learned music as a trumpet player when he was 6 and after a classic and jazz education, he taught himself bass guitar and acoustic/electric guitar. In 18 years he went through many different bands such as classical orchestras, big bands, funk band on the trumpet and pop-rock, progressive rock, and gypsy jazz on the guitar/bass. 

He is now looking deeper into gypsy jazz, covering jazz standards and many themes from french songs, movies, classical etc... and follow the tracks of the legend Louis Armstrong on the trumpet and imitating his voice in his very special way :). His repertory is completed by couples originals that he wrote on his journey.
