Apsaalel is a Swiss dj living in Geneva area.

His dedication to electronic music started in the late 90’s with the rave movement.
The love for the psychedelic scene was born at that time, thanks to the Psyberpunk parties in Switzerland and several collective such as Mantra Tribe System, Biolive, and other friends.

He bought his first MKII and sound system with his first salaries at the age of 16.
From techno to trance, progressive and then psytrance, he traveled through different music genres.

Apsaalel project started in 2023 with the willingness to share his love for the psy scene across borders.
From vinyls to digital, the project was born.

Focused on forest and dark, his dj sets are composed in a way to create fairytales and bring audience into deep organic sounds and forest atmosphere.

Strolling through the forest, your feet carry you along a narrow path. You can feel the dead leaves and dry branches give way to your soft step. The scent of bark, fungi and wet moss filling your nostrils while you surrender to the spirit of the woods. A familiar, yet so foreign fragrance, your eyes drenched in a deep green, it feels like home. Accompanied by a tender melody sung by the birds, soft rays of light cutting through leafy crowns, the gentle rustling embedded in insectoid humming. The slow rhythm of growth, older than man, older than all superficial chatter and pitiful humanoid complaints of everyday troubles, all of it gets drowned in this ancient song, audible to anyone, if only we cared to listen.

Marking Samaa's 50th digital release, this new album continues AodioiboA's journey. The name Acura Damata comes from his stunning and life-changing experiences living in the middle of nature for many years in Brazil, where he also produced most of this album. Wild nature, especially a forest, can easily overwhelm us; at first glance, it is rarely ordered, but it is more of an intertwined chaos of rocks, plants, creatures, and the four elements. But if we pay attention, a whole universe of beauty and togetherness unfolds, and we can absorb the healing energy of nature around and in ourselves and connect to pure love, far from any of the distractions our modern societies keep us trapped in. "I believe we cannot experience anything close to this in a concrete jungle". Wild nature is not easy and straightforward; it's only for some; it is an adventure, an experience for the brave and a paradise for the dreamer, as is this album. Beneath the moonlit sky, where the air is thick with the scent of damp earth and ancient pine, there lies a forest unlike any other. This is the Indigenous Forest, a living, breathing realm steeped in the wisdom of millennia. It is here, between the tall, gnarled trees, where the veil between worlds grows thin, and the creatures of myth and legend roam free. As the golden rays of dawn pierced through the canopy, a chorus of birdsong filled the air, weaving an intricate tapestry of melody. The villagers nearby often spoke of it in hushed tones, warning tales of strange sounds echoing between the trunks, a harmony that seemed to grow and shift as night falls, as if the very woods were alive with music. The wisdom of the Ancient Ones, the elders of the forest, is whispered by the wind, carried on the rustling leaves, and echoed in the songs of the nocturnal creatures. Each step you take is a step deeper into the Sacred Realm, where time bends, and the rules of the material world no longer apply.
