This album is made by Bplrxxiii and Native Cell. We worked on and off on it, over a period of two years (2017-2019). It was a fun creative process, sending each other ideas back and forth to achieve intriguing sounds and soundscapes. Our inspiration was taken in nature and the infinitely large and infinitely small. Mixed with retro-futuristic vibe, ambiant and glitchy spiked details.

We start the year with an exclusive premiere! @Slugabed has a new release out next week and he's given me the chance to share one of the tracks with you. It's called 'root rot' and it's a wonderful blend of blissful melody and strange, distorted noise. It's hip-hop, but it's not. It's weird but beautiful. You can imagine the ghostly creatures on the release's cover dancing to it. He also answered some questions from me. I hope you enjoy reading his words and listening to his music.

Quarta 330 is the Japanese artist belonging to a UK-based record label, Hyperdub, founded by the one of dubstep pioneers, Kode9.
He entered in the limelight when he relased his 12-inch single vinyl from Hyperdub and a remix work for Flying Lotus (WARP). Since then, he has performed with Prefuse73 (WARP), The Bug (NinjaTune), Kode9 (Hyperdub). Recently, he has performed in "Hyperdub 10 - 10th Anniversary Party-," "Red Bull Music Academy Tokyo 2014 presents 1UP: Cart Diggers Live."
In the meantime, his music is also compiled by famous music labels and artists such as Thom Yorke (RADIOHEAD), Mouse On Mars, Ministry of Sound and etc.
Among the Japanese artists, he has had remarkable achievements at a furious speed.
Quarta 330 originally started his career as a Chip Tune artist.
As a matter of fact, he integrated Chip Tune in current dance tunes when he performed at the SonarSoundTokyo2011.
However, he has branched out his curiosity in music and has started interpreting/ recomposing sounds.
At last, he developed a new style called, "Pixelated Dub (Nagagutsu)."
Now, he is introducing us this new form of sound through his songs and performances.
