Curtis Alan Jones, Green Velvet real name, is one of the first Techno producers and the man behind several Labels since the beginning of the 90’s. While achieving his first successful release as Cajmere, his house alias, it was when he decided to do different things from that house vibe that he became Green Velvet and marked an era with his “Velvet Tracks” (93) on his own Relief Records.
This set was recorded live at Portuguese events promoter NA Events “3rd Anniversary” at Waikiki Beach Club near Lisbon, and it’s a big exclusive of our Magna Recordings Radio Show !

When it opened in 1988, Kremlin marked an era and since then has been leading Portugal’s dance scene. This week we have a very special edition of our Radio Show. Our guest this week is the DJ’s DJ, one of our favorite DJ’s and producers, Danny Tenaglia. Since the early 90’s, Danny is one of the main artists regarding House and Techno. His legendary 12-hour marathon sets in Miami, during the annual Winter Music Conference, are on the books of dance music history. Danny’s releases that hit the top charts all over the globe are to many to mention and his sound has been influencing generations of DJ’s and producers, as well as clubbers all over the world in the last decades.
This set was recorded last July 27th at Sound Waves Festival, one of the best electronic Festivals in Portugal, with a massive line-up that also included Nicole Moudaber, Umek, Chus & Ceballos, Art Department, Ben Sims, Carlos Manaça, and a lot of other Artists.
