Qamar Sol emerged by mere coincidence during the Covid 19 pandemic when playing a Lloyd Stellar showcase in a livestream at The Loods H.O.F It was that moment the love for this music style was rediscovered and embraced. 

Growing up in a period of breakdancing, graffiti and hip hop,  Qamar’s musical youth was influenced with the music from groups and artists like Newcleus, Planet Patrol, Afrika Bambaataa, Kraftwerk, Hashim, Grandmaster Flash, Shanon, Whodini and many more was what laid the foundation for what Qamar does today.
