All of this is true. RObbie Martin has a well done chronology of PJW's first 15 years online and then his rapid descent into insanity, I recommend listening to that too on MRR.

The melting of people like him can be connected to despair; after telling the truth that the media ignored in the '00s and '10s when the US was comitting directly or by proxy war crimes every damn minute and causing so much misery that some of the investigative journalists online who have gone completely far right can at least be understood as casualties, screaming at a wall about injustice for 15 years is what usually destroys great punk bands for example. I think that's why the worshipped bands left from the 80's and early 90's only release stuff every 4-5 years, just for mental health reasons they gotta get away from it all for a while. Breaks or to Stop Posting isn't an option for popular solo truther-turned-BS artists like PJW.
