Whether with Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Hi-Tech Hip Hop, or more 4X4 styles, Alberto has collaborated with collectives such as Tech Factory and Trauma (Madrid), Asphalt Records (Tokyo), or Dirty Sonora and Humanoid Audio (Streaming), and has played in various venues throughout Spain.
He was also one of the promoters of the Liquor Parties in Madrid.

Hailing from the decaying industrial town of Sisak in Croatia, LE CHOCOLAT NOIR aka LCN has been performing as a DJ and music producer since 2000. With releases on She Lost Kontrol, Helena Hauff's Return To Disorder, Gooiland Elektro, Frigio, Kraftjerkz, Charlois and many more, he is a model unrepresentative aiming for his utopian dream(s). LCN also releases and performs as FIUME (L.I.E.S., Panzerkreuz/Bunker, Cefalù Tourist Information). Born in 2018 with the throbbing sound of Moog DFAM, FIUME is about futurism, Haïtian vodou and African rituals, about love, magic and mysterious occurrences.
LCN is a member of bRAVE collective from Zagreb with previous residency at Zagreb Queer Festival and Ljubljana Elektroliza. Having played at countless events from Brasil and USA to Japan and primarily in Europe, he also performed at Dekmantel Selectors, Dimension and Exit Festivals, as well as at Intergalactic FM Festivals. He is also releasing under alias Honored Matres, is a member of Florence Foster Fan Club with Zarkoff and has been producing/releasing music in the prolific collab with Christian Kroupa since 2021 as BLACK DOT, with the recent EP released on Mechatronica.
For the past ten years, LCN has been selecting and playing a wide range of music in his radio show Disco Panonia on The Hague based Internet radio Intergalactic FM.

Which artists has influenced you the most?

- There are too many, the most prominent ones would be all the acts from the end of 70s, like TG and Clock DVA, Human League, than later Soft Cell and Cybotron. Weird Italo Disco (Crazy Gang) and Esplendor Geometrico, Coil, Bunker/Viewlexx, Invasion Planete and Beta Evers. Lots of known and unknown techno from ’91 and ’92.

 What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- Following our EPs released on KRI and Mechatronica, Black Dot EP, our third, is expected in the spring of 2024. This is my project with Christian Kroupa. Recently, I provided vocals for a collaboration with Alavux, this has been released last month and two of my tracks were featured on a VA vinyl compilation on Oraculo, released last month too. There are more collaborations, info on those as the time comes though. I have many LCN and Fiume demos ready and am (patiently) working on having those released.
My priority now is producing music under my Fiume alias for my performance to be staged next year. This is outside the clubbing context and is more gallery/theatre oriented. There will be a self-release in some form coming out of this. In addition, I have been a part of a contemporary dance performance “Striptease” by Dore Brkaric, for which I produced music and we continue developing it. I am getting more involved in the Zagreb and Croatian art scene, I find this interesting. Next week I will work on a sound installation experimenting with glass with one local artist.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- While there are some labels and artists that I keep following, for example Brokntoys, Nation, Mannequin and Stilleben, I dig for music throughout the Internet (for some reason Boomkat store has been an important source of information where I discovered some super cool artists with cassette releases) and often on Bandcamp. I prefer releases by artists that are trying and succeeding to express themselves in a more personal distinctive way. One example is artist Pö.

The direction is wherever the mind takes you. This particular mix was recorded straight to cassette with selections plucked from dusty vinyl.
