The Biography Of QDH THE KIDD

Que Dante Haynes, as the oldest of four children, was originally born in Omaha, NE on November 26, 1986. Since 5yrs old, Que had always been fascinated with music. He began making a drum-like beat on the kitchen floor of their 5 bedroom apartment, and that is when his talent was first recognized by his mother. He started playing for his home church in Omaha, NE at the age of 7yrs old, with his sister singing by his side. His mother noticed how quickly he picked up on everything and how he had a great ear for music. The first instrument that he taught himself to play was the drums. Then Que became fascinated with the piano. Without any lessons for both, he mastered them very quickly.
In 2001, his mother, Lisa Levy, who was a single parent, decided to relocate to Fayetteville, NC, where Que and his three siblings continued their childhood. At that time he didn’t understand why the transition, but now that he looks back he understands that there was a purpose for him in Fayetteville.
Once he turned 15yrs old he realized that music was what he loved the most. Que was not the type to sit down and read music because the gift of learning came from listening by ear, and once he heard the song, he played it with perfection.
As timed progressed, Que had to get comfortable and feel himself around Fayetteville. This was a new environment, new people, and a fresh new start for him. Although it was a frightening transition, he began to fit in just right. Through his years of middle school and high school Que became very popular. He played basketball, which was another favorite thing that he loved to do as well. He became well known for being the fastest, 5’7” guy on the court. 
While in school, Que never forgot about his gift with music. So he started a little crew. Inside this crew were other talented young men and women. After school, and after basketball practice, Que found himself learning more about the music industry, so he decided to get the Fruity Loops Music program. Que and his crew spent days and night working hard on music. A simple beat was all they needed. However, Que felt as if something more was missing from his music. He felt it needed more sound, more thump, more heart beat. He discovered new programs, such as to create better unique beats. He practiced and practiced and then his crew started to hear a change. After just a few years, Que was ranked in the top five of Fayetteville for the best creator of music and beats.
That is where Que’s journey for his music career truly began.
