Experience RE/FORM, a day/night festival experience that focuses on Techno, House, and other experimental soundscapes - all of which are brought to you by 6AM, Synthetik Minds, & Dirty Epic. Performing at this year’s RE/FORM is Ken Ishii, the legendary DJ hailing from Japan.  Since the 90s, Ken Ishii has continued to become a household name within the house and techno scene. Hustling since the start of his career, Ken Ishii has gained notoriety from winning No.1 on the U.K.’s NME magazine’s techno chart in ‘93, being highly praised for his first ‘JELLY TONES’ album in ‘95, having his single ‘EXTRA’ win MTV's ‘Dance Video of the Year’ in ‘96, producing the official theme song for the Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan in ‘98, starting his own label 70 Drums in 2002, being awarded the Best Techno DJ at ‘Dance Music Awards’ in Ibiza Spain in 2004, as well as many more recognitions throughout the years. 

From playing in more than 140 countries around the world, and collaborating with fellow industry leads such as Jeff Mills, and many others, it’s safe to say that Ken Ishii has shaped the music and video game industry as we know it today. As he continues to prove himself to be one of the world’s most talented DJs in the scene, we can expect no less from him at RE/FORM's 2022 Summer Event.

RE/FORM Summer 2022 Mix: Ken Ishii

Galaxian has made a crucial contribution to modern electronic music in the 21st century, de- constructing & turning it on it's head while making bold strides into unexplored territories. Often recognised as a pioneer & innovator, his inventiveness is only surpassed by his ability to mine consistently new seams of sound, rhythms and intricate arrangements. 

More than a decade of authoritative releases on world-class labels & counting Aphex Twin, Mary Anne Hobbs, Helena Hauff & DJ Stingray among admirers, the latter being sometime collaborators. Notable live & DJ sets played worldwide at Boiler Room, Dekmantel, Resident Advisor and key releases on Tresor, BPitch, Ilian Tape, Return to Disorder, Micron Audio and many others & featured in a number of BBC Essential Mixes, BBC Radio 1 + BBC Radio 6 Mary Anne Hobbs. 

Beginning his journey behind the decks long before stepping into production, DJ sets display a reflect a deep well of knowledge and experience. Stylistically mixing style is rooted in a classic old-school approach, completely contemporary in track choices, techniques and performance. Sets are tightly woven, dynamic, incendiary, evocative. 

With recent releases on BPitch and Herrensauna, Galaxian - along with his alter ego Naix - continues to reaffirm his reputation for crafting unconventional yet essential electronic music that resonates in the 21st century and beyond. 

With such an intense output of 5 albums in 3 years it was time to take a long earned rest and consider new sonic avenues, developing new ideas and adopting different sound palettes and production techniques. During this extended period there has been a lot of evolution and shift for the Galaxian and Naix sounds resulting in dozens of new tracks and a few albums worth of material. 

In 2025 Galaxian turned his attention to the sample library world, launching a new platform called Wavkore in late March 2025. Designed to give producers fresh creative possibilities, it offers access to his signature sounds, a curated artist series, and plenty more developments on the horizon.

Beginning her DJ practice in 2024, she works across ambient, leftfield techno and electro-acoustic forms, blending analog warmth, soft noise and irregular rhythms into slow-building, textured sets. Her work favors suggestion over structure, exploring space and subtle transitions.

Gina Demarchi is a 28-year-old DJ artist and producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has developed a unique style influenced by tribal sounds, excelling in Techno, Techno 2000, Tribal Groove , Dub Techno, and rhythmic, sensual beats.  She is also a resident at Fungi (Argentina)

Gina has performed at Tresor, and played in clubs like Anomalie, Loophole (Paris), Seaworld (Copenhagen) at Den Anden Side with Antigone, Mutate (Italy) with Freddy K and Rebecca Dellepiane, Mutate with Spdfj  and other cool venues like About Blank, Aeden, Hor, Derbybreweryarms, Rottesonne among others.

She has toured  Australia and played in different clubs like Novel, Bloom, XE45 and more.
In her sets, Gina merges various styles, maintaining a consistent line between groove, hardgroove, tribal, hip-hop, and dub techno. Her tracks have been recognized and played by artists such as Future 666, Marron, Yanamaste, Alberto Tolo, Justine Perry, Paula Koski, Laura van Hal, Lobster, and BW in venues like Tresor, Fusebrussels, Bret, Rote, Left Bank, Sonic Festival, and Mälor.

Q'hey (Masaya Kyuhei) started DJing in 1989 and ever since has been one of the few key individuals of Japan’s club scene (alongside mainstays Takkyu Ishino, Ken Ishii and Fumiya Tanaka). With a lot of determination, focus, hard work and with the support of loyal fans he has been one of Tokyo’s Techno milestones for many years. From club events to massive outdoor music festivals, Q'hey is the artist who always delivers.

In 1995, Q'hey's time was spent producing tracks and introducing his music to the Asian and European clubbers. Around the same time his Tokyo underground techno party was created, REBOOT at Maniac Love. With a solid line-up of DJs and with Q'hey as the main organizer of the monthly party it has been going strong for more than 14 years. Needless to say, the remarkable music quality plus the powerful fan base, is the fuel for this great everlasting party.

In 1998, after a few releases from several prominent labels he started his own label "Moon Age Recordings". This was a time for more hard work and international exposure. In a matter of months his releases were charted on the play lists of big DJs such as Sven Vath and Marco Bailey.

Until now, he released 3 mix CDs "Sound Republic" (KSR) "Reboot #001" (KSR) and "NYSO Vol.1 DJ Q'hey" (Yenzo Music). In 2006 he released the first album from Moon Age Recordings - Q'hey + Reboot "Electric Eye On Me".

His works have been some very unique projects and again delivering many superb re-mixes and productions. These were released by MB Elektronics, Pornographic Recordings, Rhythm Convert, Omega Audio among others. Also some releases from BluFin as Q-Ram in collaboration with Ramon Zenker from Hardfloor.

On a more technical side, he reviews DJ equipment for music magazines such as "Sound & Recordings" and "Sound Designer". With his extensive knowledge of DJ/production equipment, he also got involved in the development of MC-505 and MC-909 for Roland, providing advice and support for Yamaha and Vestax.

Q'hey has been lucky enough to DJ in countries such as Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Holland and Poland. In between long hours in the studio and DJing domestically he is continuing to add some more international gigs to his list.

After the earthquake disaster in Japan, Q'hey established charity project "BPM Japan - Be Positive by Music Japan" and continues working to make donations for the victims by making compilation albums, releases and events.
